Heyyy.. i'm not that bad - my scores are never that horrifying, just whatever I can achieve with 3/4 shields! Anyway, I'm feeling nervous and contemplating using up 1 of my shields now..

Lately my brackets have tended to be quite chilled out - hotshot had top10 at 884 I'm hoping for a non competitive bracket this time round too Hmm.. we already have a shielder at 400ish

Lurched my way up to 300 for the token riding the Patch/Panther express - even got a few Sniper shots off on the way. It's fun having multiple nukes available.

Minor QQ time... I just lost on a 43pt node to stormneto. Ouch, haven't had that happen in a long time, and generally only when I hadn't killed stormy first. Just RNG giving her a **** ton of blue. Went from doing fine, to eyes wide with fear, to last remaining character having 62 hp all in the entire span of a cascade fueled fireworks show. daaaaang.

Had a decent run before that of 4-5 matches with only 2 healthpack uses, so good overall. Just trying to hover near 100th place anyhow.

Question for those wiser in the ways of MPQ. I'm about to max my last couple 2* that I held on to, but only have about 4 covers for my strongest 3* (including GSBW at 2/1/1). My normal team for "underpowered 3* + 2" PvP is wolvie and obw, which usually serve me well. I have cstorm & mnmags but hate to run them because they suck so much on defense, and even with true healing, anti-grav still slows down my health pack consumption. What's my best choice for this? No Ares, as the RNG has not seen fit to give me enough of his covers to level significantly.

I started out with GSBW/mstorm/daken, because it covers colors best (all but blue active), but I know that will get torn apart pretty easily before long.

Thor & Cstorm work best defensively ~ use wolverine & daken to push forward, swap in mnmags if one goes down, but finish up with Thor & Cstorm before you take an unshielded break

Should be a low scoring PvP. I don't see any or many non X out above 1000 which is unusual. A couple of us rushed out to 1300+ quick today and I'm not seeing any activity at all.

I think even people who need Spidey covers still don't want them.

You can run Mags/Storm up to 300 without too many defensive worries. After that, everything is flawed for defense. oBW is the glue of 2* + featured teams.

I would pick Thor/Storm for best defense

One thing to remember is if you go Cstorm/MNMags is to use the token GSBW. You don't want her purple going off and giving your opponent green when MNMags can be giving your Cstorm blue.

Category 5, Weapon Tex-Mex, and Hotshot were excessively high-scoring brackets for me this season, much higher than normal. Understandable in the former two with Deadpool as a reward but a little stranger with Hotshot considering GSBW isn't really in demand.

There is NOBODY playing. Very few pts out there. Normally I'd be getting killed with hits after I shield and I'm getting very few from the random snipers out there so I'm just going to keep going .

I took this opportunity to grind to 2300 in SHIELD Simulator for the Mohawk black cover. Made it without shielding and never got attacked once. Been sitting there for a couple hours and still haven't been attacked.

I'm really surprised so many people are grinding for Fury covers. I just assume that with the horrible end times no one stands a chance unless they forego sleep for the next 4 days.

OK this i dont get it at all... im getting attacked for 7 points and i retal for 30 points but they kept attacking me... those guys are crazy.. i dont mind at all ez points for me but its wierd.. Same is happening to me on shield sim.. lol?

Sure feels like it. Of course ranks will still change (even drastically) but at the moment our alliance is #48 with measly 6000 points. That's only 300pts per member. Never have we had so high rank with so little points during the last day of PvP. Normally we cling to the top100 placement just by. I guess everyone is so focused on PvE and the shallow & slim promise of Fury cover (yeah, good luck with that...) so they probably figured to do some PvP if they find the time. Usually it's the other way round.
