    The reason he isn't rewarded more often is that rewards usually are tied to the next PVP and a Hulk PVP is a bloodbath under normal circumstances. And then they did the level boost, which means a fully leveled Hulk will now be in the 249 range.


    A level 249 Hulk is NOT something anyone really wants to face for 2.5 days straight.

    Since when do the devs not set up things because the player base would hate it?! Hah.

    I understand that the player experience at the top is very different than mine, and how this would be very painful. On the other side of the coin, even a slightly boosted hulk way down here in my 2* land is hardly a deterrent. Several 2* teams are great hulk busters at the range we'd usually end up fighting him. If he's level 120 or less, I'm felling confident. Up to 140 I take it figuring I call pull it out. Only above that do I really feel inclined to start skipping. This all assumes the rest of the team is on part with my 2* nub toons, but I suspect that is about what a hulk tourney would look like way down here.

    Next tournament, hulk rewards, followed by hulk tourney with Sentry, Daken or something else everyone will fight over. icon_twisted.gif

    I just noticed that they changed GSBWs color strengths to match her abilities. Apparently they did this a couple of weeks ago but this is the first time I saw it.

    The plus side about Spidey rewards is that I don't have to give a shi!t.

    Looks like I get to max out Hood then start working on someone else.

    I guess, though it's technically the "least useless" build. The true preferred build for Spidey is for it to still be several months ago.

    Well, with the last PVE, Spidey became my 3rd fully covered 3-star, and the top 25 cover will make him 3-5-5.

    top 25 in this would move my 2/3/1 lvl 78 spidey to a 3/3/2 lvl ~90 spidey. While not a 3* near viable for 3* land, I wonder if he'd be strong enough to sub in for OBW in a reach fight. i.e., one of those early fights worth 35+ where the opponent would be foolish to retaliate against. Maybe save me one healthpack per run.

    I could maybe even pull it off if I were to run up as high as possible 3hrs before the end and shield. hrm... Eh, prolly not worth it. A max'd m.hawkeye or tiny torch would probably help my game more at this point.

    I have a 1/5/3 Johnny Storm that I plan to use consistently but desperately needs red, and a 1/3/1 Spidey that I'll probably never use. Guess I can save on shields!

    And I *just* finished maxing Spidey after recent PVE... he's 4/4/5, so I can't even respec to 3/5/5 unless I get top 5. Darn.

    On the plus side, Spidey PVE/PVP is gonna be great for me.

    I am not minding all of the Spidey covers recently since I know the next PvE will be focused on him. Hoping for a Deadpool/Spiderman, be some fun dialogue. Hoping for some more Deadpool covers soon though too.

    Maybe Hulk rewards for the PvE?

    Since they'll probably rerun the Simulator or one of the Heroics next there probably won't be any new dialogue. Also next PvE should have a new character (the mysterious B character maybe) reward if they stick to the every other PvE model they've been using.

    <.< I remember when Spidey was given for PvP and IW just came out. So many people tanked thier score just to place 2 or lower. Nobody wanted #1. It was a hectic day.

    I still like Spiderman. He's a decent support character with dirt cheap defense tiles. Though with the way people shield hop (and my own refusal to), I'll be lucky to walk away with a yellow cover. I always wanted a 3rd yellow cover.

    I dont mind spidey covers. I'm that poor in the 3* dept that i'd take it. Except blue spidey. Already maxed those icon_e_biggrin.gif
    i have no hope in getting any 3* from Hulk PvE unless it's a fluke from tokens so hopefully this pvp will end this season on a less sour note

    I can kinda use gold bagman covers - even after the PVE he's still badly covered.

    I started playing in the period where it was known he was broken as hell but before he was nerfed and he was never given out.

    Look half an hour later: Sit next to Worldrunner and Goldenaxle at 25 points.

    Guess I should have joined 5 minutes earlier, I missed my usual "good" bracket since this was a fresh one with only 43 people when I joined.

    But it's Spidey rewards, so, meh.
