  • It's been going steadily up. It seems like a month or two ago #100 was usually around 12,000.
  • Rewards were sent out to me correctly.

It's been pretty consistently right around 13,400 for the past several PvPs.

Took this one easy, as I didn't need Patch.

    Still, death brackets abound everywhere....

Didn't recognize any of the names in the Top 10, but Top 5 required 1200+ and Top 10 required 1100+.

Causally worked my way up to 790ish in prep to see how far I could run up the ladder casually in the morning for some ISOs. Got knocked back down to 700ish overnight, which raised an eyebrow as that placed me outside of the top 50. Might as well grab the 50 HP at 800, so I worked my way up the charts once more, no thanks to random WInd Storms. Unibeams, and Photon Blasts from Team-Ups magically on the last turn of multiple fights before executing CoTS.

Reached 800, and still realized that I was still in 35ish place. Scratched my head even more.

Decided what the heck and challenged myself to see if I could run up to 900 in the 8 minutes that were left in the event. Sure, why not?

Had some easy 20 pointers to chew on and reached 870, with out about 2 minutes left. Had a retaliation from Thanos from overnight, so decided to pull out the guns, charge up, and Sentry-bomb him for 34. Just beat the clock (Holy tinykitty, selecting AP boots is a pain in the **** now and wasted way too much time), finishing at 904 (Bagman token... YESSSSSSSS!) and just barely brought up the rear of the Top 25 prize bracket.

What the heck that 900 is now required to win more than one personal cover? And we wonder why newer players complain about the transition nowadays? How can they possibly consistently score 900 or higher with only a 2** roster (would take some fancy shieldhopping)?

I wonder how much worse the situation will continue to degrade over the remainder of the Season and beyond?

Edit: Whoops, got my event prizes mixed up. Thanks HailMary!

Basically your 20-member team needs to average 675 points per person. Not impossible but not easy to stay consistent. Only 7 members in our alliance topped 675 icon_e_confused.gif

I dunno, depends heavily on what bracket you happen to land on. In the end I scored #27 with 749 points and top10 was in 900-1200. Not that bad, really. So... YMMV. icon_neutral.gif

Eh, my hopes to sit this one out went out the window with many alliance members being absent/forgetful/etc. I never used as many shields before - not like I have anything else to spend on, but we still missed top 100. No surprise as I knew, too, that 650 per member is quite spot on for a top 100 alliance, and that's the safe minimum. Still, annoyed that an older cover turned out to be out of our reach.

So if you are cover maxed already (nothing to spend HP on), what's the point of placing high?

Big ISO rewards for top 5. If you don't need any of the covers, top 5 pays out 6500 ISO.

I already said why. I often grab top 5 if I can afford sitting there unshielded because extra 3500 ISO never hurts, but if I don't need covers, I am happy to let others have them, too. Alliance first, yadda yadda. It is my own MPQ Murphy's Law: whenever the alliance doesn't need my effort, I grind for personal purposes anyway, and when I think I can take something easy, it turns out that the alliance needs every ounce of firepower icon_e_biggrin.gif

Much thanks and internet high-fiving to TU1 who agreed to don the kitty whiskers and help us out yesterday. We wouldn't have hit Top 50 without you icon_e_biggrin.gif

Especially now that he's dead. That hand is even colder.

which, i suppose, explains why you're always touching yourself...
