    For 6 defensive wins since I shielded, I stayed in the same position - #4! Oh well. I have 5k HP and nothing to spend on besides shields and occasional roster slots, so I don't mind shieldhopping this event.

    yeah, this event is brutal. Was out all weekend and finally began climbing. Pushed for 1100 only to come out to ocer 130 pts in losses and out of healthpacks so I had to shield up. Hopefully top5 is not 1200 but monz, coolbond, qtquazar and a few others I recognized are waiting below. With pve ending too, it will be a battle of attrition.

    I think I skipped you since you weren't worth enough, but yeah... it's brutal out there. Managed exactly 1000 and I'm 5th. Probably going to need at least 1100 top stay top 5.

    I think my bracket is going to have somebody who gets 1200 points and misses top five.

    Incidentally, in a mid-tier PVP a few weeks ago (I think the Falcon one), I accidentally got first place with 819 points.

    Skip around for a couple good matches = 300 iso

    Load up full boosts = 400 iso

    Watching every single thing possible go wrong in BOTH matches = Tinykitty priceless

    ...and re-shielding with less points = 75hp

    Got greedy and snuck in a third fight on my shield hop. Not advisable. Won all three, hit 1200 (which I don't think I've ever hit before) after the second, which is where I should have stopped and shielded out) and came out of the third fight to -91. Threw up a shield. Been hit 5 more times since the shield went up.

    I'm done, so hit me if you've got me. Everyone already is anyway icon_lol.gif

    Sometimes people got to learn the hardway. Took me a while to realize its not worth it.

    I'll add my WTFkitty moment for this event...

    Went through the usual routine prepping to Sentry-bomb an opponent roster, a typical Patchneto team.

    Went through the motions...

    ... prep the board to prevent yellow matches... check.
    ... cast WR... check.
    ... cast Sacrifice when WR tiles are down to 1... check.

    AI's last turn before oblivion....

    ... Magneto cast Magnetic Field, right over my Sacrifice tile. GRRR....
    ... but Magneto plays the ability correctly, and generates a Match-5 crit... GRRR....
    ... which generates a cascade.... GRRR....
    ... which enables Patch (5 Green) to cast Berserker Rage... GRRRRRRRRRR....
    ... followed by the opponent Sentry casting Sacrifice.... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR......
    ... followed by the opponent Sentry casting Supernova...... WTFKITTY????
    ... downing my Sentry /sigh

    Fortunately, my other two characters were Daken and Thor, got even very quickly after that. icon_twisted.gif

    Still, I'll take that as a clear sign that I'm done with the madness of this event.

    I'm all done for this event, got my Yellow Sentry! Hit away!

    Although apparently everybody in Ten Rings already got this memo and hit me en mass to keep their guy in first. I get it, sucks, but whatevers. I got my win by getting the yellow @ 1100. At least you guys waited that long, I'll give ya that.

    Good luck to everybody still pushing, it's a true Confirmation Bias cascade type blood bath out there!

    I don't even know why I bothered with this one. I really hate Sentry, be it using him or fighting against him. Everything that could go wrong, did. In the end, I picked an easy fight with a few boosts to try and slowly turn things around, only for the game to shutdown on me. I think it's the first time I was so close to throwing my tablet out the window.

    And all I wanted was a single cover for Cap Marvel... icon_e_sad.gif

    I'm just shooting for top 5 in our bracket. I just hit 1101, which passed you originally, then saw you shoot up past 1200! That was damn fast!
