    Thanks for the reply. I got up to about where you're shielded and decided to just let myself get hit down rather than spend on the shield. I guess you'll be a good kick start once I get back climbing again.

    What the what. I did a few fights with 2*wolvie/obw earlier, then went off on a family thing. Came back, discovered I got attacked 4 times, for ... 3 defensive victories.

    Are people just wiping out more because Sentry is hard on the offensive team and we're all short on health packs? My Fabio's a softcapped 2/2/2 currently. Not exactly a pillar of manly mass destruction, even when buffed...

    Edit: up to 4/5 defensive wins now, wow.

    So what happened to everyone was going to go easy this season? Every single bracket, no matter when I start, the top 5 (and usually top 10) are all well over 1000!

    My roster isn't much changed since the season changed, yet my brackets are all way way harder than they were last season....is it simply the rewards have been better? The buffed character has been one more people had fully covered?

    Or did I slip into a new tier of player that the game thinks I can hang with the "big boys".....because, if that's the case I'm honored, but am willing to humbly decline! icon_mrgreen.gif

    1100 wasn't enough to be reliably safe for top 5 me since the one before krakadoom

    Well, I'm going easy... while making t5 for the ISO.
    Unfortunately that has required at least 1050+ in the last 3 PVPs, and 1109 wasn't even good enough in Predator and Prey.
    I blame it on rewards, though. Hopefully the PVP after Capt Marvel will be tamer again, after we all went to 1100 in her tourney. So expect one more death bracket.

    I'm pretty sure it's just sharding. I'm fairly sure the top 5 people in the my brackets ones that rewarded LC and BP needed them. And both of those were ones where 1100 was not safe for top 5 as well

    You know how I've always hated PVP? This is is worse than that. Note to D3: I will never spend any more money on the game if my sharding is going to continue to be this bad.

    Does anyone know how many matches you have to lose in order for your MMR to go down? Mine has basically been screwed up since the balance of power event; I have essentially a maxed 2* roster, but I'm basically set with the higher weight class in every season 4 event - once I struggle to hit about 200 points, I hit a wall of 166.

    I understand the concept of tanking, but as there is no LR right now to do it - exactly how much do I have to lose in order to make a difference?

    Done for now and shielded. Might have to unshield closer to the end if my top 5 doesn't hold, but I also hope for def wins - 2 already came my way, for tiny points though icon_e_biggrin.gif Thanks goodness Sentry provides a complete cover for Thor, climbing with just Sentry is impossible.

    I don't care about #1 mohio. I just stopped there because that's all the medpacks I had, so feel free to pass me again. I only care about top 5

    I'm shielded until the end with a bit more than 800. 800 is a good mark as it means my 8h shield for free.
    Above me, some xmen which tend to 1000 and no doubt they will cross this mark before the end.
    Below me, Polarity, probably waiting in the shadows the perfect moment to climb over these xmen.
    Now that I'm safe, I've a good spot to watch the end of the fight! icon_e_wink.gif

    I must confess that sharding can be... surprising...
    As I fight with a 3* roster, I guess I may be gathered with some strong guys...
    However, a few tournement ago, 800-900 pts was enough for top 5 and now I can't be sure for top25.
    And even with a 3* roster, I'm far too lazy to aim for 1100 mark at each tournament icon_mrgreen.gif

    Crossing 1100 has less to do with your roster, nothing do do with your skill, and is at least 90% based on your willingness to spend HP. If it becomes necessary to get 1100 to get top 5 on a regular basis, I'm going to slot down to being a semi-casual player. Top ten is not worth 300 HP. Top 5 is.
