While not thoroughly enthused with the idea of **** Torch, I think the timing is kind of convenient with the release falling on a rather busy weekend. With a good deal of their playerbase celebrating the fourth, and traveling this weekend it means nobody missing out on a highly sought after character.

Granted, I think it may be too soon after the release of She Hulk to release a new character. All of this is just my opinion though.

To be honest, a solid new 2* is a good idea. After true healing the 2* guys need as many good 2* as possible. But why in Odin's beard does it have to be a lazy? The devs couldn't have put less work in. There are HUNDREDS of marvel characters. You could've pulled the most obscure one, as long as it was different and a viable choice. No one likes lazies unless they are a significant improvement on the original (Laken, Lcap), which this is not. Also, I propose his nickname be the Human Turd or Firecrotch
Edit: also, another goddam red/green guy. You could have at the very least switched his damn colors

I'm glad they released a 2* for once. let the 1* and 2* roster players rejoice. I'm ecstatic they released a character I don't have to waste iso on, so I can continue to level up my 3* roster. you do get this shortbus guy is for beginning players. they have three more 3* characters more advanced players will need to spend iso on, not counting sentry our she hulk.

I liked the Ares release better. 2* covers as sub rewards. That would have been up to 3 of each color over the 3 sub events.
(Edit: OK, 6 of each color with Hard and Normal versions.)

As a perk for Cologn, it's a cheap character to max out.

The juggs/ares/sentry node in simulator hard is some serious trolling by the devs.
1. Buff ares and sentry, two tanky and powerful characters.
2. Make them your opponents in a node, throw in juggs just for kicks.
3. Make it an essential node for good measure.
4. Metrics show increased health pack revenue.

Its pretty obvious why they're giving out a **** character in a seven day pve event. The 4th of July weekend was coming up and they just needed something quick to throw up so they could get out of the office early. Makes me sad i have to waste 500Hp on a roster slot if i want to keep this guy. D3p takes laziness to a whole new level with this character.
