IceIX are you guys looking to hire some part time beta testers to add to your internal QC department? Where can I sign up?0

I don't get this.
If a player wanted damage from a squishy G/R/B character, they'd use Human Torch. mStorm and LStorm's usefulness begins and ends with utility - and at this point, I'd actually give my roster slot to the one-star version if I had to choose. Her 5 AP red makes or breaks her.
If you want to buff LStorm in comparison to mStorm, I think there's only two really viable ways to do it. Reduce her red's AP cost, which would give it enough utility to make the sacrifice of a more damaging red worthwhile, or, give a massive buff to the damage on her black. No one will ever use her red or green for damage when characters like LThor and Sentry exist, and at the moment their utility simply isn't worthwhile.0 -

So, to clarify further, in layman's terms, you guys tested the change, decided it wasn't going to work, and then forgot to remove it from R56? Is it gone for good or will it be back in a future update? I haven't used her in a long time until this PVE so I don't care much about a change, BUT there are a lot who do care.
For the record this description doesn't sound plausible for ANY reasonable source control tool and workflow used these days.
I was thinking the exact same thing. It seems one out of every 2 or 3 patches has some "feature" that shouldn't be there (or in the case of Sunder, one that SHOULD be there and is missing). There seems to be issues all over this company from proper design, to managing builds, to QA and CS which are both an absolute train wreck, to the top dog whose blog and articles are comedy gold.0 -
They still haven't fixed the problem in the android version with the program doing nothing when you try to run it again after closing it. 5 or 6 kills using the swipy thing usually gets it back. Restarting the tablet definitely gets it back. Until you try to run it again...0

Possibility: (git) They are workin on R55 and R56 on different branches, at the same time of course. R56 merges the latest changes of R55 (With 1* change). After this, devs that worked on the R55 branch revert the 1* change. R56 never grabs this update, maybe different devs are on these branches. Thus R56 launches with the issue from R55.
Of course this is assuming a not that great model of working on seperate branches without merging to a main/develop branch where merge conflicts would have been seen easily. Basically git flow would seem to work fine (of course i have no idea what issues I may be missing that demiurge has to deal with)0 -

That's what I referred: any sensible workflow requires all predecessor branches bully merged into successor before release. As it is supposed to be a proper superset. It's trivial to do and check automatically with tools so a simple script can block the release.
Alternatively the successor originates from end of the previous release, once out of the door everything is rebased there. Also not hard to do though IMO suboptimal approach and opens a can of rebase-related potential problems.
The point is you can tell discrepancy at glance. And whether a change happens to be a revert or what devs work on branches is completely irrelevant.0 -
I was mostly agreeing with you haha. Just providing a potential not-good way of doing it demiurge may have used that could have caused the issue.0

I don't know if it is related to this Patch, but after it went live, everything goes far slower. Now all animations seem to go at 6 fps or worse :S It is very difficult to navigate the menus (it is worse in the menus).
I have an iPhone 5 with iOs 7.1.1 (today I will upgrade to 7.1.2)0 -

I have the same thing on the Steam version, thought my internet was down at one point cause the match took so long to start. When I switch screens all the character portraits or event tabs are just empty blocks for as long as 20-30 seconds sometimes. And trying to play a match when the tiles activate and move with a delay is not easy!!!
Is this a side effect of the patch or is my comp dying? Please fix it. (the patch, not my laptop)0 -

I play on android and am having similar issues since the patch.. Once magnetic translocation proceed without animations.. i thought they finally allowed us to skip the animations but after seeing Patch still jump with Zerker Rage, I realized it is just the patch messing things up..0 -

I had this issue too before, apparently reinstalling the game works, never had the issue again
Of course the ticket I sent in was answered weeks after that and I found the solution by my own.. SO thank you very muchh fornnothing0 -
This update is now mandatory, and 85MB, so I hope you have LTE of wifi. Gotta be fastest turnaround from launched, but not mandatory, to "sorry, whatever you were doing is now over and you better go update now and forfeit all prizes you were trying to claim when this popup appeared."0

IceX, has anyone pointed out that Thor's green power description shows the same damage for the lead character as for the other characters? I see this on both Thors.0

not a bug, it does 2.3k to target, and 2.3k to enemy team (but target is only hit once for 4.6k, so strike tiles don't double up).0 -
has this wording recenty changed? i havent noticed but the description used to read something like ' does x amount to enemy team and an additional x amount to the current target' thus specifying the target taking double damage.0
-
The PACman wrote:has this wording recenty changed?
Wasn't it changed two months ago? viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6967Demiurge_Will wrote:There's no change to the amount of damage Thor does.
There were a couple of cases with the old wording where rounding could cause the advertised amount of damage to be slightly off (if the ability did 118.3 damage to everyone and 118.3 additional damage to the target, the text would say you do 237 damage to the target, when actually, because of the order in which damage is rounded and applied, it does 236). This change is a fix for that.0 -
What's going to be in patch R57 besides Sunder fix?0

An explanation that they know what went wrong with the Sunder fix, and that it should work by r59.0
