Oh yeah sure, after a bunch of people hit it and used their 10 pack in the 5th pvp. (I'm not complaining, I got 2 usable covers from mine)

Complaining on the app page does nothing. It appears that complaining on Demiurge's Facebook page gets their attention. Thank you, Yelena Bolova. You just became slightly less useless in my eyes.

    Slightly.

Getting something done by **** about a company in the full public eye and forcing their hand : the only valid reason to get a Facebook account. icon_rolleyes.gif

Any word when they will fix the "nudging" and "mmr" "mistakes"?

Storm - Totally not a bug, nor a mistake (excluding its' accidental release before they meant it or there was a prior mention of it). It was totally intended for that release.

It's coming, only when is now the question and it will be soon.

I also imagine the changes to Hawkeye (Modern) are not far away and Magneto not much behind that (once all this "True Healing nonsense" dies down of course - http://www.d3pforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=10854).

On the plus side, see how quickly they can change things when they want to???

We are aware of a change to Storm (Modern)'s Mistress of the Elements ability having taken place in this build. This change was unintended and will be rolled back within the next day or two.

Edit: Patch is out and Storm is rolled back.

    Already rolled back.

    Already rolled back.
Well, that's great then. Looks like the patch got deployed earlier than expected. Last I had read on internal mails, it was still going through some final testing to make sure it didn't hit any last minute snags. And given the time, I wasn't expecting the button to have been pressed. I'll take the better news though!

So, this change is meant to occur at some point in the near future then and was accidentally released into the wild too early then?

Also, is this a trend for the future, where revision/updates to older characters will be based upon the their higher rarity tier versions? (Past: Daken --> Present: Storm --> Future: Hawkeye?)
  • Now all you have to do is roll-back the abject failure known as true healing.

Admitting your mistakes, that it was a terrible idea will buy you some goodwill assuredly.

Nope, this was a change that we had talked about rolling out at the same time as Storm (Mohawk) released to further differentiate them, but we decided that it did a little too much. It was therefore pulled from the R55 code base. R56 caught the change though and this code commit was missed in our final audit before it went out.

...how does making their powers cost the same "further differentiate" them?

Presumably the same way halving spidey's purple on top of the other nerfs funbalanced it out

Thank you for the clarification. Much appreciated!

In this case, the line of thought is that it made Storm (Mohawk)'s version more powerful than the 1* equivalent due to increased damage at the same cost. This would allow us to use Storm (Modern) as AI with a bit different of a power level compared to Storm (Mohawk) in the same circumstance. After discussion and playtest, it was deemed a bit much.

So, to clarify further, in layman's terms, you guys tested the change, decided it wasn't going to work, and then forgot to remove it from R56? Is it gone for good or will it be back in a future update? I haven't used her in a long time until this PVE so I don't care much about a change, BUT there are a lot who do care.

You're welcome icon_lol.gif And it's Belova, not Bolova.

Here goes hoping that Mistress won't be nerfed after the Heroic ends...

For the record this description doesn't sound plausible for ANY reasonable source control tool and workflow used these days.
