Cycling Thoughts

So I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just pulled the Drake Haven (Thank you Fateful Showdown) and decided to test out a simple Tezz 2 (lvl 40) cycling deck in training grounds.
Holy **** its powerful, and there are only 3 rares (Drake, New Perspectives, and Fetid Pools, which you don't need anyway).
I did have a thought for a possible nerf/balance that might help the issue. What if the "when you cycle" effects had a mana cost like they do in paper mtg? Say Drake Haven becomes when you cycle, drain 3 mana and summon 2 2/2 drakes. It would still be powerful, but it would cancel out the New Perspectives so that the combo isn't infinite.
At least I'll finally be able to clear Node 3 in the next Trial of Zeal!

All cycling needs to do is drain mana from another card aside from the same card you are cycling and you will go a long way toward balancing it.0

Although, usually when a majority of players get together on the forum they are informed that they are actually a minority of the player base by the regular gang of nay-sayers, so, presumably, the opposite is also true.

Minority? Re-do the math, I'd say it's a tie between people want it to be changed and people who think it might be a problem, but resolve itself by being boringshteev said:
