Don’t give up hope yet , some bosses appeared just before start time.

I would assume if we don’t get one the transition plus extended holiday vacation led to it.

Not filled with confidence to be honest that anything will appear and if the new guys can't code Boss Events, the one thing that Broken Circle could, not filled with confidence moving forward either.

At this point I assume no PVE or boss will appear until Monday.

They have the holiday until then.

Enjoy your free time from MPQ grinding!

Mobile games last long term from becoming routine. Upsetting the routine causes rethinking. Whomever made this decision was not thinking the best for long term future. Not sure how much it matters as Unity really shook up routine with many leaving. But any new players could find something else to do during this "break".

I won't disagree. On the other hand, if you're still playing the game after the past 6 months, you probably won't quit because they didn't run a boss event.

Correct. It's the new players, which are needed long term, that I am more concerned about.

Players don't matter that much, spending matters.

They also didn't put any new offers up today.

They really just said "Woohoo vacation!".

An undeserved vacation. Glad they got axed.

If they could make it so Puzzle Gaultnet could be up today why not the boss event too

It takes a lot more work to set up a boss than change the support token you get from the same exact PG they’ve run about 8 times already.

New boost list. New covers. Update the text telling you who to use in the nodes. Etc.

No daily Lightning Deal in Offers either. Imagine that requires manual effort also.

They could have just rerun the old one and at least I would have appreciated having the Boss Event to do vs nothing.

It's hard to make an argument that no boss event is better than repeating the last boss event without any changes.

If 505/d3go cared about making sure a boss event was running, or a standard pve, they probably could have.

They know it doesn’t matter because we keep playing.

BCS can be blamed but their jobs ended the day before Thursday and the publisher collects all the money. They ultimately make all the decisions and it’s their baby. BCS was just their hired gun to execute their plans.

Maybe they were terrible at their job but they aren’t being paid anymore and it’s silly to keep being mad at them now.

I truly wonder if this can possibly hold true. Playing daily for 11 years, this is the first time I recall opening the app and finding no PVE event... It's sad, really.

It did happen quite a bit in the very early days, but it's been a really long time. I wonder what happened.

If you can find a better explanation than “old devs’ last day was 12/31 and new devs are on vacation until 1/5 so we are in a dev-free zone and no one cared to spend extra time and money making sure something is available to play because most players are fully committed after years of playing”, I’m all ears.

Probably half of it there. The players who notice will get upset but won't ever quit. The rest of the players won't even notice.
