Our offices will be closed starting tomorrow for the holidays, and we’ll be back online on January 5th. Customer Service will be closed on Dec 25th and Jan 1st.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has stuck with us through this hectic transition year. Our teammates at IP2 have been eagerly working on familiarizing themselves with the inner workings of MPQ and taking over the reins slowly by deploying events and builds.

There's much to still learn, and as part of this process, the following events may shift out of their traditional rotation since there are knowledge base nuances that still need to be transitioned over. We expect to return to our regular schedule after this initial January delay so please stay tuned for exact release dates once we're fully back in the office.

  • Viper in DDQ Crash of the Titans (originally Jan 5th)

    I wonder if they programmed some decent vaults to pop up or fan stores? I bet they did…because holidays and all that! The Unity engine definitely made that easier to do! Right?

    The December Deals vault doesn't seem to be on the calender this year. And I thought more iterations of the Winter Wonderland vaults were definitely incoming?

    Also, no 12 Days of Marvel this year? How else am I supposed to progress my Spider-Ham?

    However they did put 12 days of Xmen tokens in the tower starting in about 8 hours so that’s nice.

    This December Deals vault is an impostor of the past runs of this vault. Use to be 56 items in a resettable vault. This token required run is trash, they shouldn't have bothered.

    I just got my 1* Juggernaut ascended to 5* a couple of weeks ago and now they’re giving one away in the X-Men vault 🤦‍♂️

    Edit* I also just recently ascended my 2* Nightcrawler to 5*

    They aren't giving it away. You need to spend cash to get those tokens.

    Ok, I scored the 1-5 Jugg and the Cable costume so….its a Christmas miracle!

    Glad they decided to give some tokens away through play. I don’t care about the rest really.

    People argue every year that the Anniversary is the worst one yet. I think we can all fully agree that this has been the worst Christmas in the game yet.

    Very disappointing.

    If this game last 2026 I will be amazed. For that reason I've ended my hoards and spending resources as I can on anything half decent.

    Every time someone says it’s the worst/best thing ever someone else points out how they’re wrong because x years ago x happened or didn’t happen and that’s fair. But the main thing is how does it feel currently? That is what they are selling us. All that really matters today is how things feel compared to the recent past, maybe the past few years.

    This is certainly one of the more lackluster holiday seasons in game in a while. It barely exists. We don’t know what is due to “new dev who dis” or “we (BCS) are outtie and doing minimal work” or due to “gee we need money, time to give less stuff away or make people less able to use hoarded resources for good stuff” or a mix of the three or what.

    The Tower indubitably has better rewards than any 12 days of Marvel ever but the nodes are harder. Instead of needing specific affiliations you need to have a Kang cheese team at minimum. Etc. Is that better? Worse? It will depend mightily on your point of view and roster.

    Based on their implicit admission that making a boss event or even just setting up a single or pair of 1v1 will be hard for while, it seems clear no one should be thinking any significant improvements in player experience will be coming for a few months at least.
