This is certainly one of the more lackluster holiday seasons in game in a while. It barely exists. We don’t know what is due to “new dev who dis” or “we (BCS) are outtie and doing minimal work” or due to “gee we need money, time to give less stuff away or make people less able to use hoarded resources for good stuff” or a mix of the three or what.

The Tower indubitably has better rewards than any 12 days of Marvel ever but the nodes are harder. Instead of needing specific affiliations you need to have a Kang cheese team at minimum. Etc. Is that better? Worse? It will depend mightily on your point of view and roster.

Based on their implicit admission that making a boss event or even just setting up a single or pair of 1v1 will be hard for while, it seems clear no one should be thinking any significant improvements in player experience will be coming for a few months at least.

The history is relevant because the game lived through that stuff, and if you think the forum and the chats or whatever weren't as angry/burned out/disappointed/negative back then, you're totally wrong.

Players have been monitoring bracket counts since like 2014 (just because they find it "interesting," of course, no agenda there), and every single one just happens to notice they're losing players faster than they were before. And if course, if they'd only fix (whatever that player's current pet peeve is) they'd go back to where they were!

Sentiment now may be bad, but sentiment among the more outspoken MPQ players is ALWAYS bad. It's been much worse than it is now!

So I dunno. Sure, the game might die. It might have died in 2014 too. It might have died in 2018. It didn't. Could they do stuff better? Of course! Are they listening to our suggestions? No, and they mostly never have. They're going to do whatever they want to do, and (unfortunately for many of you!) their choices haven't killed the game, yet.

I am getting the freezes as well. However, they clear after about five seconds and the game continues.

I pulled the 1a5 Juggernaut on my 7th token. Not really useful as I was literally 3 covers away from ascending one in the normal way.... What am I going to do with 2 of them?

Over the long term you will be happy, because you’ll have a place to put your next 800 Jugg covers and turn them into 5* rewards.

I was thinking merging two 5* would give a 6* with 3 to 6 covers of the 6*, depending on the number of covers on the second 5*. And then for every cover adds 10 shards to the 600 total shards need to add a 6* cover.

You all are crazy if you think you’ll be able to ascend 5s.

Let’s say you spend $40 on 2 1-5 Spideys. Do you really think they want you running that bad boy with 6* match dmg and his purple with may?

Vs spending years or thousands of dollars to build Cosmic Spidey?

The freezes I got weren’t clearing in the 5 seconds they usually do

I just got the freeze at the PVE 5* node rewards page. After force close and reopen, no rewards received. the nodes stuck at 3/4 and the timer not starting. Even entering and retreating the node didn't help.
