Winter Wonderland Vault is live

Possibly there's more vaults coming.

Possibly they wanted to make a vault, pulled up the Winter Wonderlands vault - the old ones had numbers because there were several different ones that ran after each other, and it was simplest to let it be Winter Wonderland 1 and not make any changes to the title.

The fact that your old WW 1 vault tokens don't work makes it clear it's a different vault....that's all we know.

But....sure, maybe they plan on a series of these vaults with the 6s and different 4s and 5s in it, and the timing will be 2 weeks and there'll be two of them, or 3, but these seem like holiday type things. So the next one will start in 12 days and 4 hours and be....on Dec 27? So WW2 would go through New Year's? I mean I won't say that seems unlikely. It's possible the next vault will have the new 6 in it instead of Galactus or have wildcard shards in it....? who knows?

Assume nothing, MPQ is less predictable than ever lately, sometimes by design, many times not.

Not many people will care if the MMR is done right. If it's like when 5* came out and people got them champed I will rarely see these people or enough of them to care. I have enough depth in 5* and 4* to 550 that I'm not in the least bit interested in chasing 6* at the most expensive period for them. I can catch up like every other tier when the tap is opened. If it never opens I still don't care. 550 ascension was the planned end game and they messed that up, I'm confident this will be messed up too due to constant complaints about it being to much of a slog.

If you go and spend a combo of HP and cash and get G and Spidey to 13, you have no reason to play PVE except bragging rights, again. There is no chase until a new 6 is released; the chase via rewards takes years, currently. If you had both G and SM at 700 then 2/3 of PVE is effectively worthless unless you really want to slowly add levels to Red Skull or Spidey 2099 and 3* Ragnarok or whatever, because....oh, you'd never use any of them unless you think they supplement your 6s.

I know the competition is not really about rewards, but they actually added a new thing to chase to make it matter again and they're offering people a shortcut to make the rewards not matter again.

That's exactly how the old whales worked though. Those guys spending thousands a month just wanted to win stuff and push everybody around. They weren't maxing out everyone to get rewards, because they didn't need any of the rewards.

It wasn't a doxxing attempt, but it was an insult. That person deserves every bit of hate they get on Twitter.

Will obviously be up to the Mods but I can confirm that comparison to real life people can definitely get you in trouble on here. Maybe @Read_Only might consider amending his comment and making his point in a different way.

Oh I see, it's an Asian Twitter fascist. I seriously thought this dude had tried and utterly failed to dox me, which would've been right in line for the "MPQ is serious business" crowd (both the trying and the failing!).

Yeah. It really escalated quickly.

I miss when MPQ fights were solved with (in-game) violence. If you got mad at somebody you'd turn up in their PvP slice and beat on them or their teammates for awhile, cost them placement, then they'd do the same to you as revenge, then it'd go on until everyone got bored and gave up eventually.

I'm sure these are brand new players with no roster and zero skill at the game, but even the ones that have those things don't want to fight anymore. It's sad. Conflicts should be won or lost in battle.
