Actually, here's a fun one: give us a character with a power that does AoE damage equal to the difference in HP between the (non-downed) enemies' highest and lowest maximum HP.
It'd need to be super cheap, because it wouldn't have a ton of use after the first cast. You could even make it a start-of-game passive, and it wouldn't be overpowered!
It's totally worthless in PvE and against lots of PvP teams, but it'd be a great tool to have for those loaner/Iron May/672 Juggernaut teams that seem to be everywhere.

If you bring the right defense, and have a roster as strong as mine, nothing but the most absurd mThor+Shang support fueled nonsense is going to even be a threat.

Yeah my cable is one cover short from max and I keep coming up against a level 600+ who kills me on turn one with all his free green AP from the usual suspects and then a buff from May

So have all those buffs been implemented yet? If so, any info on the adjustments? I'm interested to see what they do with Peggy

Bleugh they need to change her abilities....no point letting her create protect tiles only for them to get a bit of (inadequate) damage reduction and replace them with strike.
The idea is ok but in practice it's just useless

I actually kiiinda like PegThor now...
She's definitely not top tier, but you can at least run her for fun now (if you're bored). If they increased the damage reduction on her yellow, she would be uh-mazing (missed opportunities).I've been in the lab a lot lately and looking over some numbers. Not100%, but I'm pretty sure Pepper owns the yellow that gives you the strongest protects now (almost 10k as soon as you champ her). Combined with her passive heal, she can be quite fun defensively.

I think Pegs pairs well with Avalon and Captain Britain but I've not tested it enough yet. It's sorta a dream team until I ascend psylocke to run Team Braddock!
Edit: I just tried it against Namor, M'Baku and Chasm. Forgot to equip my snack cart and died turn one 😭😭

I'll be updating the countering meta thread soon with multiple updates (I think?), but coincidentally, since we were talking about Sammernaught and Pepper, here she is starting the match with much protecting:

I am not saying this is the best team for any one thing, but it is fun, medium speed and can safely shut a decent amount. Sammernaught specifically doesn't like this anti-team damage team due to stealing SAPs as well as AP and protect gen.
- Pepper5 w/ Cart so you don't get stunned
- BRB5 w/ OmniCity (did you know if you start with enough AP the City SAPs trigger immediately?)
- DarkVeil4 2/ Krakoa (guaranteed 7 yellow start)
BRB can be swapped out for others like Electro, Wong etc.

If pepper creates that strong a tile and uses Avalon with lower health or HaAgatha to boost every turn that's Gona be strong defence!
With Avalon spamming protect tiles as well that's healing each turn too! Guess I better build pepper!
I think HagAtha is the best counter for SammerNaught though as she not only creates and strengthens protect tiles very quickly but she overwrites Sam's tiles.

I favorited Pepper and gave her ISO just to do this. She can be good now, in the right scenarios. Avalon is likely stupid good, I have some ideas with him also, but haven't favorited him yet.
Sammernaught can be trivially shut down by multiple teams, not all the fastet, but there are some that do pretty well and always leave you healthy.

This may be a dumb question but the Tower boosts everyone on the list and adds 1BW, 3Hulk and 4Wasp. And maybe 1BW was this strong before, but unboosted my 550 does 102k at 5 covers in yellow. And I’m wondering if that’s gone up or I just missed something before.
I’m not sure about wasp and hulk. Like maybe nothing changed. Is it possible: did the devs buff these 3 and not tell us?

Please let the next nerf be Iron May. I'm literally seeing her in every team on my SHIELD Sim queue.
A 3a4 shouldn't be meta, especially if they're a character that was supposed to be a joke.

She's so easy to fix, while preserving her usability to lower tier players. Instead of changing her buff percentages as you ascend her, change them based on what tier of character she's buffing.
It seems clear that was what they were trying to do with her, but they ended up creating an incentive to keep her lower level forever.
I do think they absolutely need to fix her before big Galactuses start running around, because she'll be brutal with him.
