Crazy board shake only occurs when the AI uses it, or any similar powers/ characters for that matter...

I use my ascended juggernaut (5* power stone) with ascended rocket (pizza dog support) and ascended Polaris (low level ai) for easy mode clearing all of SC10 PVE. He is one of the most ascendable characters if you’re on the fence about it.

Especially now with Sam but even without him you can blast through most pve pick 3 content using 3-4 may, Jugg and 3 Namor faster than most other teams most weeks.

I 550d 4* Carol and found a really fun team. I'm not sure it'll work for anyone else, but it's worth putting out there! I used this all the way through on Shield Sim last season.
It's Carol/Coulson/5* Riri. You need to put either Battleworld Map or Low Level AI on Carol, Refreshment Cart on Coulson, and Atlantis/Yaro Root on Riri. Cast Riri stun on your first turn and watch your strike tile get buffed to insanity, while you build AP for another stun! You can use Carol's yellow to get rid of the Riri cool down CD, and generate even more CD tiles, for more buffs.
I was able to beat everything I saw unless they cascaded me before I got a turn. I also got a few wipes!

Mine is near max 4*, so got his **** handed to him once a while in crash...

It’s over now for at least 179 weeks or whatever the cycle ends up being, but the answer to lousy crashes because your character has poor offense is usually TM sword or Stormbreaker.

Morbius' Crash seemed difficult until I redistributed covers to 3/5/5 and he was healing faster than Peter Parker could do damage. Cakewalk from there.
My Morbius is at 284, for reference.

Right, so maybe I'm answering the wrong question. If someone asks "should I ascend x guy ever?" then the answer is yes like 99% of the time -- there are exceptions but most of us probably know all of them by now.
I tend to assume people aren't asking that anymore because most of us know the exceptions, so I tend to assume they're asking "should I prioritize x guy to ascend them over others?" That question is a little harder to answer because it depends who the others are, and what they've already got on their roster.
