    People who didnt ascend their 370 Jubilee, 6 covers for the new 5*.
    People who did ascend their Jubilee but she was only 450, you get nothing and you have a week to earn about 4 champ levels (4 covers each). Just to give you an idea I barely got 1 champ level in that period.

    I really don't get why CS wouldn't do something for the very small group of players affected by this. It's not like they'd be giving away thousands of covers here -- this is only people who ascended Jubilee relatively recently and still have her at a very low level.

    Fwiw I ascended right away, with zero regrets or worries about missing anything. But my Jubilee was like lvl480 so I got all the retro rewards.

    Don't insult peoples intelligence, it's unbecoming of you. I read the thread dude. Your talking about champ levels on a character you got double rewards from. Previously, the dev's said they wouldn't be giving these rewards out. They backtracked, and now you are complaining your not getting enough.

    Ill insult your ability to read then, we didnt get double anything because our Jubilee was ascended when the switch happened.

    Firstly I sympathize with those getting screwed. But this is not the first time the developers failed to communicate properly, i have been in that same boat, although not is this case. With my issue, regarding the support system i just told CS to close the ticket rather than keep on arguing. I learned and kept on playing as I get some form of entertainment from matching tiles.

    As this situation, this was always a bandaid solution, not sure how well ppl were expecting this to work. But atleast it helped out some ppl. That's a positive.

    There is some good advice above mainly to take anything said with a grain of salt and prepare to the best of your ability. Don't get your hopes up or down with every new character/feature/event. There will always be downside to what is meant to be an upside.

    Anyways that's my two cents.

    Reading is hard I guess, you got rewards for 5 Jean and Jubilee. I mentioned that in my first post. That is your double reward guy, not double rewards for 5Jube.

    I don’t want to get into the middle of this exactly, but if someone ascended Jubilee before the rewards were reworked to give 5 Jube then they only got Jeanix before. If they ascended her in the window between rewards rework and the 7 days ascended cutoff, that’s a different story.

    Having played more with Jubilee I can find decent teams for her and think she’s more useful than Jeanix by a significant margin.

    However of course, anyone who has ascended Jubilee is going to be able to cover 5Jube and then some, so while missing the covers sucks it’s not like it’s going to ruin their enjoyment of the game or ability to compete. (Jube isn’t exactly a crucial character)

    I get both sides here. The problem is that they caved on retro rewards for ascended characters at all. If they'd held to their original policy, then everybody would know how it worked and could make whatever decisions accordingly.

    They caved and changed the policy, but inexplicably left a small group of players out, then refused to do anything for them. Of course they're upset! That's why you don't make these kinds of changes randomly.

    yeah here the "disgruntlement" is strictly due to somehow being in the loophole of failure for engaging with their cool new feature. But as I said I'll survive. It would be ideal if a more elegant solution were worked out for future such changes, and we all treated this as an unfortunate oversight, but I guess that will happen or not. Honestly it hasn't seemed to change my ascension habits, I'm still clearing out ascendable 4s as they become ascendable.

    It's just such a bizarre decision. They could have left things as they were until they had some real fix. They could have said, "nope, you already got feeder rewards on the way up."

    Instead they said "don't worry! we messed up, we'll make it fair for everyone right away!" then left a few players out and told them they were out of luck.

    Why would you rush some big change in the interest of "fairness for everybody" and then leave some people out of it? The instant you commit to something like that, you're committing to take care of literally everyone.

    I’ll chime in a last time here. When they said no retro rewards they should have stuck to their guns. They didn’t and now we see this ****.

    Who wants to see community members **** on each other?
    It is stupid that unclear policy makes people throw poop at each other.

    It is what it is but it would be more desirable if BCS stances were unmoving.

    Even worse is that for players who didn't ascend her but then ascended during the 7 day window got double the rewards (once for unascended, then again after ascending) if their newly ascended 5 reached L454+.

    What they implemented was a band-aid solution because the structure of the game doesn't allow them to retro reward a WHOLE lot of different things at L450. My guess is they don't want to spend any development time reworking the reward system and so this is why they rolled out the band-aid solution and I highly doubt they plan to over haul it again.

    On the other hand, this isn't the first time this happened. Prior characters showed there was going to be a gap where you could fall into. It's just that most players didn't pay attention because no one had a newly released character like Moondragon ready to ascend.
