So are we just making new 5* based on puns now?
I like the 3* version's Purple power better: Create a 3-turn Little Sister Countdown tile. While this tile is on the board, any time a teammate damages an enemy, Honey Badger deals 173 damage to the same target.
I wonder if the heal strategy will work with BRB and Polaris.

The 5* one deals damage twice and also deals 110% increased damage so she'll be making most matches with it out.

I don't know if I want her to tank, though. I guess with the heal, maybe I do.
I wonder how her green works? Do you have to have 3 opponents to get the full effect or can the fourth blow hit one of the previous characters?

That was my second takeaway, right after “glad I ascended X-23 and don’t use her for anything”
I’m still fine either way if they retro this. I wasn’t expecting it for Nico and I don’t expect it for this.
This isn't an MPQ original character. She actually appeared in comics.

No way!!!! In some ways that makes this even desperately worse!!!! I can forgive a games developer a terrible pun!
I mean...who looked at X-23 and thought "Nah, needs more magic!" or more likely "Need a new X-23, think, think...uhm...weapon X, X, sex? No too..porn. Uhm...Weapon Trek? Lady Wolverine Starfleet Officer! No...probably get sued...come on, deadline is in 5 minutes...wait, I have it. HEX! Send that to the artist right now!"
I can't tell if this character will be good or not, but I would kind of love it if we can have the 4* boosted around the same time so that we can evaluate a brand new 5 of a certain character against the ascended 4* version. Offhand, this character seems way better to me, but it is kind of hard sometimes to theater of the mind the performance.
I don't have an ascended X-23 but she always seemed to be a bit of a frustrating character to me. Her purple rarely ever gets tripped and her green doesn't do much and I can't imagine either scaled particularly much in an impressive manner. Happy of course to hear others saying she is the greatest thing ever and could only be improved by puns.

The inclusion of the wording "if possible" makes it seem likely that you'll need 3 active opponents to get both extra hits, and 2 opponents to get one extra hit.
I wonder what happens if the first hit downs the target, does the second primary hit hit the new target? Would you get a second and third hit in that case? Could you take out 4 low health enemies in a wave node with one cast?

A short time ago in a Disney meeting far far away from sanity someone was asking to be told more about the slicey golden mutant mashup bot X23-PO being proposed for the new pair of Star Claws trilogies codenamed Weapon Hexalogy.

Yeah, it could be really good or very annoying. It reminds me a bit of Cable's green where you need to sort of wait for an optimal moment to get the best out of it.
Instead of whining about ascension vs rewards, can we go back to whining about how this toon kinda sucks?
Feels like a 5,5,3 to me. Although you need to keep matching red once that CD is on the board or else it goes away fast

"This is my most original work since The Brood!" Exclaimed a very pleased Chris Claremont
Featuring a cgi cameo from Stan Holo
Thinking 5/5/3 is definitely the way to go and maybe pair her with Wong and ascended Nico.

I see a bunch of cheap multihit powers that are primed to be boosted by any of the various power boosters or strike tile guys -- I wouldn't say she "sucks" at all. Maybe others can do her particular job better, but having another choice for that role isn't a bad thing.
I'm looking forward to trying her. She is at least a decent 5*, vs many of the latest 5* releases over the past several months.
