Greetings fellow matchmakers!
This reboot was originally envisioned to only be three parts, but they keep giving me more material! I have an ending in my head, but like most TV shows, episodes will continue to churn out. I'll continue to try to make these as entertaining as possible! Enjoy!

I’d like to hear some updates about the gameDeveloper 2: Well sir, we uh.. had a few hiccupsDirector: What happened this time?Community Manager: I can tell you that based on the feedback from the Forums, the players are upset about all the recent glitches in the game, such as the gap between two PVE events and most recently the overlapping PVE eventsDirector: Forums?Marketing You know that place we used to provide the official news for the gameDirector: Oh yeah. I keep forgetting about that place. OK, so what does the PVE issues mean?Analyst: Our metrics are down sir. Players are leaving the gameCFO: What is going on? My bank account is not as high as expected!Community Manager: ::Hands the Director a piece of paper::Director: What is this?Community Manager: This is the events schedule sir. We post this on the Forums!Director: This is difficult to read. Can someone get this on the projector?IT Specialist: I turned on the projector and have it connected to your laptop, but it is not working. Hold on, let me try something else
::20-minutes goes by::Director: Forget it! Just give me that piece of paper and get to the point!Developer 1: Sir, it’s actually worse than thatDirector: Just tell me everything!Developer 1: Where can I begin… besides the glitches in our event schedule, DDQ did not properly start the new cycle as intendedCFO: That sounds like good news. DDQ is a loss leader that fails to generate me.. err I mean us.. any money!Developer 2: I also want to point out that new features we’re working on keep being communicated before they are actually rolled outDirector: WHAT! Communication Manager, why are you messing up??Community Manager: Well.. I literally started working for you an hour ago. ::begins to chuckle:: Director: Excuse me? Did I say something funny? Am I funny like a clown? Am I here to amuse you? Community Manager: No.. I’m just saying I don’t control the communication outside the forums..Marketing Specialist: Sir, you told us yesterday to launch a campaign about the upcoming Battleworld on 4/24/2023Director: I said 4/24/2024, not 2023! Marketing: Oh.. so we're a bit ahead of schedule.. what about the Daily Rewards giving the players options to select a reward!Director: WHAT!!Developer 1: A feature we are developing for new players bled into the Daily Rewards, where players could choose between tokens or 10k isoCFO: 10k ISO!! Will you guys stop giving things away!!Developer 2: Players rarely purchase Iso, so this is a great gesture to bring in new players in the long run!CFO: I can guarantee you we are losing Iso sales. What are the sales numbers between the week before and the week of this new “gesture” Analyst: Our figures show last week we had 1 Iso sale and this week we have 0CFO: See! We’re down 100%! No more giving things awayDeveloper 1: We really need to redirect this meeting to focus on the bigger issue on why these issues keep happening throughout the game…Director: Good point. Tell us what you knowDeveloper 1: Basically.. it’s Chasm. He is now damaging our coding for our PVE event schedule. If this keeps up, we might go a week without any PVE events then it will follow with 4 overlapping events!Director: What will happen??Developer 2: Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... MASS HYSTERIA!Director: All right, all right! What do we do?Developer 1: We nerf Chasm.. we have to..CFO: NO! Chasm prints $$$$$Developer 2: You don’t understand.. Chasm is boosted this week!Director: So what?Developer 1: We did not schedule him to be boosted. He’s literally controlling our game.. Developer 2: According to our research, Chasm is currently creating 1*, 2*, 3* and 4* versions of himselfCFO: Sounds like a record profits to me!Director: Doing anything with Chasm is out of the question! We’ve gone over this a thousand times!Community Manager: Sir, it sounds like we need to get rid of ChasmDirector: It sounds like we need to get rid of you! ::Director shines blue and sends the Community Manager Away::
Human Resources: ::Sighs:: That’s the 3rd one this week! I’ll start recruiting againCFO: Don’t bother! We can reallocate his salary into bonuses for our hardworking employeesDeveloper 1: Well thank you sir. We have been working hard. 15-hours per day, 7-days a week to be exact. We’ve barely had time to eat, let alone see our families..CFO: Oh sweet child.. I am not talking about you. I am talking about me! Director – Kang (Immortus): Listen everyone, this is what we need to do …..

Player: Hello! Hello???? Are you sure someone lives here?Kang (The Conqueror): I am positive. Just keep looking aroundPlayer: ::Sees a photo of Rogue:: What is this doing here… ::Flaming cards soar towards the Player::Kang (The Conqueror): LOOK OUT! ::Tackles the Player out of the way::Player: ::Smoke clears and the Player opens his eyes:: Wait.. you’re..Gambit: That’s right. Gambit is back. In the flesh baby!Player: I am a big fan! Your pre-nerf character is the stuff legends are made from. I thought you were gone!Gambit: Remember kid, heroes get remembered, but legends never dieKang (The Conqueror): Gambit we need your help. It’s Chasm..Gambit: I’m not concerned about Chasm. He cannot find us down hereKang (The Conqueror): If the Developers finally nerf him, he will be down here with you, with all of us.Gambit: So what? Gambit can take care of himself! I generate free AP whenever I please!Kang (The Conqueror): You still don’t get it, do you? He’ll find us. That’s what he does! That’s ALL he ever does! You can’t skip him! He’ll stun you, destroy your AP, and kill you! Gambit: Fine! OK! Don’t get all blue on me. I may know of a way to get out of this place, but we won’t survive without helpKang (The Conqueror): Then let’s convince the nerfed characters to join our battleGambit: They will likely be too afraid to stand-up, but go ahead, give a speech or something.
::Gambit begins to gather the nerfed characters::Kang (The Conqueror): OK kid. This is your opportunity to convince them to join usPlayer: Me? Why me?Kang (The Conqueror): Because you know them. You grinded with them for hours every day. Player: OK. I’ll think of something.. Gambit: You better think quickly because here they come
::Moments later, the nerfed characters gather in a room as the Player begins to speak::Player: Hello everyone. The makers of this world are threatening our lives. We must ban together to stop them. They have already taken one of own ::looks at the grave of the Shadow Creature with flags posted around it::Crowd: Booooooooo! ::throws AP boosts at the Player::Kang (The Conqueror): Probably not the best way to start.. you need to inspire them!Player: ::takes a deep breathe:: In less than an hour, we will be launching the largest puzzle battle in the history of MPQ. “Nerfed”. That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today we are here together. We will fight for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution… but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live.. we will not go quietly into the night.. we will not vanish without a fight. We’re going to live on! We’re going to survive! Today we celebrate our …Wolverine (OML): ::Shouts out:: OH SHUT UP!::Crowd walks away, followed very very slowly by Magik::
Player: How can things get any worse?Gambit: Oh it’s about to.. Looks like we have more company ::Dark Elves approaching them from a distance::Player: Why are they coming after us?Kang (The Conqueror): These goons think if they assist the Kangs, they will be released in the game. Player: No one cares about Thor 2. What are we going to do? We can’t fight them allGambit: I have a plan.. follow my lead. We got to move!::Moments later.. Dark Elves break into the castle! “Gambit” throws cards at them. Explosions everywhere!::::Dark Elves shoot the panel controlling the door::”Kang”: Damnit! That’s our only way out!”Gambit”: I’m out of ammo! ”Player”: The door is closing! We got to go!::The “characters” run towards the door as it starts to close and dive in within the last second!::
::Dark Elves approach the group laying on the ground::Dark Elves: Don’t move or you’re dead! Captain, we got them!Malekith: Spectacular stunt, my friends, but all for naught. What a pity. What a pity. So, Kang, you thought you could outwit the imperious force of…::Captured characters turn around::Malekith: YOU IDIOTS! These are not them! You’ve captured their Loaners! Comb the parameter! Find them! FIND THEM!
::Gambit, Kang, and the Player are running quickly::Player: Where are we heading?Gambit: Gambit knows our ticket out of here!

Missed that the first time too, but I have seen that movie at least.
I hate to sound this way, but the lack of Likes on this episode is disappointing. It's making me think this one wasn't as well received, despite all the positive comments
Edit: I appreciate the players that liked the posts. I felt like a whiner begging for Likes when I wrote this, but I was shocked to only see 1 Like lol. Thanks for the comments and PMs as well. Looking forward to making more of these
Tbh, I wasn't sure which part to press like. So I just went ahead and liked em all right now.

I'm definitely fortunate! Season 2 was cancelled because one of the Mods was up my butt for everything I posted.. then I took it a bit far by incorporating a character that could be taken as the Mod (it was lol) into episode 2
