    Okay, I really want to go to bed and be done with Mororo for today; unshielding and hitting my 3 high point targets who don't seem to be moving, should take 10 minutes or less if I don't get hit in the meantime. Will report when/if done.

    Yeah i can see them doing this. lower points are easier to get back so just have people retreat to the handful of people going sky high and then grind your own way back to a "normal" placement

    If someone is planning to be playing regularly, there's literally no reason for them to not purposely lose to a few guys the alliance is trying to prop up. After all if you didn't purposely lose now you'll just come out of a game down 100 points later, and you might as well give your points to someone you know ahead of time as opposed to a random stranger.

    Are people actually going for the spidey covers or do they just want the 5k iso for top 5? Scores seem a bit inflated in my bracket. Doesn't help that slobo is in it.

    Getting pissed though, I keep getting hit by max 3* teams and I don't have anyone over 85. I know my mmr isn't that bad because I an still seeing steady 2* teams.

    its more about season score and the iso...i could care less about spidey covers

    I am actually cautiously pleased with this event so far. I haven't been paired up against over 100 teams. They're all ones that I can actually compete with, which is really surprising. Should have a shot at at least 1 Spidey cover.

    I get the iso, but season 2 didn't stay off nearly this bad. And my roster was a lot worse than it is now. Granted I have been finishing top 10 or 25, but still have a hell of a time breaking 900. If I do, it's only by 5-10 points. Just frustrated.

    Don't forget Storm is a new character and more people tend to push for 1100 for that extra cover for the new guys. Also, season, sharding, etc. My bracket seems decent so far, but you never know who's lurking (at least one 5DV guy down in the 300s with me icon_e_smile.gif)

    edit: @RichHurtz - I always liked the new character PvP events when I was early in the 2*-3* transition phase cause it put everyone in that tier into the same position. You wouldn't randomly run into someone with a level 90 featured hero when you're still using the loaner, since everyone has the same useless 3-5 covers. So it all comes down to how quickly can your OBW + Ares/Thor kill the opposing OBW + Ares/Thor. Doesn't make it fun, but it's a little easier to do well, in my experience.

    Well reckless is above 1100 but I know for sure she won't stop until 1300 so still no point trying to go for first.
    Rest of the bracket looks pretty calm, though. I'll push 1100 sometime in the next 10 hours and then see what I'll do after that.

    I've got slobo and anubis from scAvengers both over 1k in mine. Who knows who else is in it.

    Shielded at just over 800... if you see me, feel free. Will have to shield hop tomorrow to try and stay top 10.

    Aaaaaaaaand I'm done. Shielded at 1131pts, about 300pts above #2, so I expect to have top5 secure.

    Been a while when I finished the tourney a day earlier. Spend total of 600HP on this one. Which I consider a very good deal:
    1. I'll get 300 HP back.
    2. I'll get 5 new 3* covers, all wanted.
    3. excluding ISO from grinding, I'll earn 7-9k ISO.

    Are you sure that wasn't a defensive win for you?

    I am not certain how long this has been going on, but you get a retaliation opportunity even against teams which lost to you and gave you points.

    Nope, I definitely lost points and considering the roster this is just a tank team to set up a retaliation later on.

    Nodes started greying out for me past 1000, only Kcwei82 in one node and it kept cycling to him, lol.

    Restarted, got Electro.
    Twice, for 40 each, lol.

    So I got my cover and am shielded now, fire away if you got me (and if the server is working for you).
