    • I don't actually know what gus fring is but it sounds bad...

Its the character (another villain) that Esposito played in Breaking Bad.

    He's insane.

I haven't figured out all the details of how his match damage boost works, but oh man does it ever work.

How are you able to get covers for him already? Is there a store I missed (I assume you can't cover swap for him yet).

I presume the damage works as advertised. If you have his Yellow at 5 covers you should be getting 1500% bonus damage (15x) which on 5 star characters (esp 550s like yours) should be hitting well over 100K per match 3. If it does, it likely signals the end of MThor because you'll be able to down her on turn 2 at worst if you boost TU.

You can buy covers in the "offers" section. There is a chain that, if you bought all of them, would give you nine covers.

Just to put that particular narrative to rest, it won't signal the end of m'Thor, for a couple reasons. Leapfrog is one -- a 100k+ single target hit, even a fully passive one, is just worth less now than it's ever been, because the enemy dodges it and goes invisible.

The other reason is that m'Thor is already sorta bad on defense and everybody still uses her anyway, because she can trivially beat any opponent of any level on offense. Having 100k match damage on your defensive team is cool and seems strong, but it's totally meaningless if you never get a turn.

Now let's not talk about m'Thor here anymore.

Oh, never seen it although I hear it is a great show. Hopefully will get to watch. Currently watching Walking Dead for first time ( but had read comic books up to just past Governor on this one, got too grim)

Am I reading it correctly that there is no 3* feeder for him?

He doesn't seem to have a feeder. I didn't get any retro rewards.

You’re right thanks for correcting me. I went back and did the math.

This will make numbers go crazy, but since we aren’t tracking overkills I think his value is wasted on the match damage monsters.

Still he can bring some good heroes up and potentially give us more variety in PvE.

Why are his arms so massive?!? Dude looks like he has been put together from other people's body parts.

Noticed during the 1v1 shield training event that his Blue passive covers himself as well as allies (I would have 1 shot him with 4 star Carol's Black but he went away to avoid being downed).

That means you don't have to bring Leapfrog to cover him. Or bring it anyway and give your team even more ways to avoid nukes!

P.S. That match damage boost is indeed crazy. In the right mode node on day 1 I used 4 star L370 Juggs as my only character choice and was seeing numbers like 24K damage. I just obliterated that node in a handful of moves and I presume on the next 2 days I'll be doing the same to the Riri and Things nodes.

After playing him in shield training 1v1 against Wiccan, I can tell that he is terrible on his own. But I get that he's designed to be a support.

If you asked me what property this character was from solely based on his visual design, I would 1 million percent tell you Masters of the Universe. Not a comment on the art, just on the fundamental design.

Interestingly (?) Sidewinder predated He-man toys by about a year or so.

Fair play to him he is pretty buff for an old geezer, this is him without the mask

He must be the most real to life accurate drawing coz the artist nailed "economist" with balding boring looking middle aged man right there!

One thing that is good is that while he is away, his passive won't send his allies away. Basically, in PVP, you really need two moves on your first turn. Move one, hit him and send him away. Move two, target one of his allies and hope you can do some damage.

I will say that without supports in PVP, this would be ridiculously harder. It is hard enough as it is though, and this is with "baby" Sidewinders.
