    The Calgary Stampede is one of the biggest rodeos there is and has been held for decades.

    The Western provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan are essentially the same (flat and dry) as the mid western states from Texas in the south all the way to the Montana/Dakotas in the North.

    Lots of ranches and cowboys.

    I'm gonna be honest here, I missed the bit of the 90s with Kaine in it so my analysis above is the absolute limits of knowledge. I just thought he had had a web cartridge accident on his way to a Spice Girls concert.

    Oh, there will be a costume offer next week, well within your time window. The 5* art was so lazy I wouldn't hold out hope for this look, tho ... too much work .... unless you think the main art was so **** because they spent all the time on the alt skin :D

    The skin will be a palette shift on the same art. The Salmon Spider.

    Wow that costume is close to peak '90s. "Organic", spikes / fins, "nontraditional" color(s). Is that toy a custom? No one was selling capes or hair like that ... right? McFarlane wasn't doing Mega•Blox ...

    Well, since a ch * nk is what remains after a ch * nk has been removed, obvious misautocorrection, wound up with the wrong ch * nk, very unfortunate. Devs banned from own forum.

    Buuuuut .... what software on what platform is "correcting" anything to 'ch*nk'? Is this one o'them racist AIs?

    Is he just Great Value Spawn? That black costume seems awfully close to trademark infringement.

    I'm kind of surprised he's being met with "not another spider-person!" Given the poll about what eras folks are fans from, I wonder why he wasn't on the "most requested" lists. He seems to have been quite popular/pushed in the 90s, did he get a bad reception or something?

    I used to see people "wishing" for Scarlet Spider .... whichever version, this all postdates my reading of comics. And it always will ... now when I read I'm going backwards in time, not forwards. It hasn't been "cool" to post a wish for anything spiderverse-related for a year(ish?). This chorus would rip sweet old Uncle Ben to shreds.

    The performative "No mo' spooders!" chorus'ing has long been on full auto-pilot. They could put up Darth Vader, Batman, and/or She•Ra and the first dozen posts would be recycled variations of "No mo' spooders!"

    EDIT to add: First there was "No mo' Wolverines!" Remember that? How quaint it semms now.

    Then later came "No mo' mutants!" ... which immediately followed "Give us mo' mutants!" Apparently there was a very specific number of mutants that were acceptable, and the game foolishly overshot that sekrit mark.

    Then there has been, and for quit awhile now ... and let's see, how to refer to this collectively and yet politely ... "No mo' stuff I have no nostalgia for!" or perhaps, "No mo' stuff I don't personally identify with!"

    Todd loved a lawsuit back in the day so I imagine if he could have sued, he would have!

    Everything to do with the Clone Saga is sort of like how Star Wars fans hated the prequel trilogy but now seem to think it is alright after all given time and the last 3 films.

    The Clone Saga was hated at the time (I missed out on it myself having quit comic books at the time and not coming back until late 90s) but now it seems to be looked at through some sort of nostalgic prism. The bits I have read of it were pretty terrible, it failed to achieve what it set out to do and they seemed utterly clueless of how to conclude it and you could argue it actually harmed Marvel! BUT hey, clones! You gotta love clones, right?
