I can't believe they looked at Fury and still didn't fortify the 1 strike tile he creates.. what was the point?

They should have made a 3* Fury with that new yellow

What an absolute **** change to Fury; it's how the yellow used to be originally (which no one liked) but now 6 cost, and it looks like purple lost some damage which is....why?

Yellow was fine; blue needed improvements the most and purple is really eh.

not sure blue needed improvement, it can oneshot most of my characters. (Tbh I seldom play fury, but when I face him it is always the blue that do things, yellow and purple are usually minor annoyances).

The whole thing is just so WEIRD. They promised awhile back that they'd address the absolutely massive balance issues in the game by fixing one 4* and one 5* every month.

They did fine on that for awhile and we got some really good reworks, then for the last several months they've just given up.

Why are you screwing around with 4* that nobody cares about or uses? Why are you making characters worse if they weren't overpowered to begin with, when there are overpowered characters that need to be addressed? Why is half or more of the 5* tier STILL completely unusable, even with a +100 level boost?

Completely agree. The Fury change is incomprehensible. Talos needed work and I guess coinciding with Secret Invasion was as good a time as any.

Fury and Talos are clearly being redone due to Secret Invasion being released as opposed to creating new versions (3/5's) of these 2 characters. These 2 should be zero surprise to anyone that they are bring reworked.

On the other hand, most of the other recent characters (minus Beast) have suspiciously been ones who appear in PvE nodes (looking at you Fatpin) in multiple PvE events. My guess is those characters are getting priority over other 4/5 characters that no one uses AND are not in any PvE nodes.

Talos yes, but Fury didn't NEED a rework, he was fine!

Fury does appear in more than one PvE event, like Spider Silk and (I think) Lost in Time. And Talos is the final boss in Cosmic Chaos. So you might have something there. But in that case 5* Gambit, Old man Logan, 5* Yelena and 5* Thanos should be high on the To Do list.

Gambit already got fixed, and he's actually quite good now.

That's why this is annoying! They did a really good job fixing a bunch of bad 5* -- slowly, sure, but consistently, then they buffed Yellowjacket for reasons that are unclear, and then just gave up for a few months. One a month was going to take FOREVER anyway, and now it's even slower.

    Before with 12 yellow he did everything, now you need 6 yellow and/or 5 red/ 5 blue/ 5 purple / 5 green.
For a neat total of 26 diverse AP for the complete set. Thanks for this seemingly quick but actually hiper slow power!

Don't think it was an accidental reset... This looks like the original version at half the cost. The original ability was a ridiculous 12AP plus the added AP requirements. They later fixed / buffed the ability to just cost a flat 10AP and adjusted the Avenger's strengths in the levels for balance (it was a nice happy medium). The true benefit of the previous version was Hawkeye dropping 3 critical tiles as level 5 and you lose Captain's protect tiles. NOW it is back to the OG version at half price, no SAPs, and a baby Rope A Dope. Nerf indeed...

BLUE and PURPLE look similar at reduced cost (particularly PURPLE with a reduced countdown strike tile from 3 to 2)

Please dear god fix Chasm before you rebalance anyone else. It’s all just so freaking tiresome in pvp.
