Guardians have taken over Milestones feedback

So what did we think? Would we want something like this again? Perhaps you didn't participate and regret it? Let us and the Devs know! If more than one option applies, then obviously would be interested on feedback in addition to poll choice. I am interested in those who finished this who are iso positive as the iso was the big prize in most feedback I have seen - did you feel compelled to play or do you just complete everything always?

If anybody read @dianetics thread about it then you all know my opinion so we don't need any more of that from me!

I could not/will not be able to complete because...

It was the fire a particular power from the 4* version of each character that I found difficult. It would have been better if it was fire any power from any version of the character, even if the number was increased.

But for the love of God let us do the coloured matches all at the same time, not in sequence - TWICE!

This. All of this right here.

It's fine, just wish the tiers opened all at once to make it more manageable.

    Mod mode off

I enjoyed it and would definitely participate again. It was actual fun without impacting hugely on my normal play style.

I agree that the match x colours could have been done differently and would really have helped with getting to the other tiers quicker. Perhaps R/Y, G/Bla, Blu/P, pairs might have helped and thematic with boosts without making it too "easy".

I won't finish because I don't have the time/road to grind 50 powers of many 5*s. An extra couple of days and I'd have had a good try.

I think the destroy enemy special tiles was also a bit confusing for some players simply because destroy has a very specific MPQ meaning and they thought matching tiles = destroying tiles (I mean logically I can see why you would think that as those specials don't come back or anything but...)

I really enjoyed doing the quests and loved all the additional rewards but having all of the quests unlocked to begin with would certainly have made it easier to get it all completed.

Also, I wasn’t able to complete all 17 in tier 4 as I did not have Adam Warlock nor did I see him available for purchase in the store. If he was I must have missed him as I bought Starlord in order to get his quest done. So I’d say either don’t make the quest dependent on having certain 5* or give an option to purchase them for those that don’t have them that want them in order to get the quests completed.

Adam is in the High Evolutionary store if you still wanna try for him (not sure how much time is left on the Milestones).

Edit: 1 day 3 Hrs left on the Milestones...depending on what else you need to do it might be doable if you were lucky enough to pull his purple. The 6 million damage is pretty easy in SCL10 PvE.

Yea I don’t know if i wanna waste my CP trying to pull for him as there’s no guarantee I’ll even be able to pull that specific power nor do I have an exceptionally high amount of CP available at this time to even use at this point.

It’s the only quest left that I haven’t completed so I’m sure I could get it done but given the final reward for it I reckon it’s better for me to hang onto that CP to use at a later date.

Overall it was totally fine. Many players grinded like crazy to complete it in 1-2 days or be the first to post screen shots of the tier rewards and got burned out.

There is roughly 1 day to go and I'll finish around 10-12 of 17 tier 4 quests. That's without any special grinding beyond 'looking for Black matches' when I need to match 100 black colors or using 5* Gamora in PvE just because I need to fire her powers 25 times type thing.

In other words the quests and the time allotted was fine.

My only complaint is the same one that everyone else has, that you had to work on the 100 color matches 1 at a time. Opening them all at once doesn't make any sense either (that's just the make X matches with guardians on your team quest) but we need at least 2 of them open at a time.

    Too much repetition in tasks

I enjoyed the rewards at Tier 4 and it was a great sense of achievement to get there. I'm getting very close to being iso positive, largely because of these rewards so I'm not sure if I would be so keen to complete it all if it runs again when I don't need the iso.

I was one of those who rushed to complete it in the first few days, but it wasn't for bragging rights, it was more out of a sense of panic that it would be much harder to complete all the quests in 'normal' play (and without using lots of health packs) but it was much easier while puzzle gauntlet was running. I think someone suggested it in the other thread but if this is run again it should be done so that it overlaps with the full dates of puzzle gauntlet or with more events that actually feature the relevant characters.

There was also a huge amount of repetition, I'm not sure it's any kind of celebration of a character to have to fire the same power 50 times...

I probably won't finish because of the sequential nature of the quests. Also, the cool down on sending teamups.

I wholeheartedly agree with Bowgentle that the color matching quests should have run at the same time. I didn't mind having to finish Tier 1 before unlocking Tier 2, if the quests in those tiers weren't also locked behind earlier quests in the same tier.

The iso rewards were the only reason I did the whole thing.

It was basically 1 month of iso rewards packed into 2 days of farming. When you are in iso debt looking at it, it is a requirement.

I hated it. I hated the grind. Everything about it was just too slow.

But with those rewards I would do it again tomorrow.

Overall I enjoyed it and that's why I went with the option I did, but I agree with those who say that many more of the tasks should have opened at once - Tier 1 and Tier 4 were particularly "grindy," and that made it a lot less fun. If you could be working on more than one color at once, that may help resolve it.

I also think that 50 times for the 5* powers was a lot

    Too much repetition in tasks

    1) Like everyone else said, open up all Quests at the very beginning - but I'll go even further and say that should include all Tier 1 - 4 Quests. I felt like I had to fire a yellow power 50 times in order to unlock the "Make 100 Yellow matches" Quest which is just infuriating. But other Quests unlocked after I completed a Tier so I was making progress on the Tier 2 & Tier 3 Quests simultaneously?

    2) Rather than require specific powers from specific characters (who newer players don't have rostered), just have more generic Quests: heal a teammate X times, fire an AoE attack at the other team Y times, place Strike tiles Z times, etc.

    3) It should feel like something you can accomplish naturally in the course of your play: "okay, for the next few matches, I need to prioritize doing _______." But if players are replaying the same handful of nodes dozens or hundreds of times in a row above & beyond normal play, then it's going to feel like a grind / fetch quest.

    4) If the tasks are going to be this tedious, the rewards need to be good & guaranteed (high-level shards, covers or supports - not just a random pull from a vault that disappoints.) There was a fair amount of Iso, but newer players didn't have the tools to get it, and older players are already sitting on mountains of Iso they can't use

Mostly enjoyed it and voiced the pros and cons before.

The rewards in Tier 4 were great, at least for the majority who still crave ISO. The tasks were mostly interesting and encouraged a variety in playstyle which is always welcome. The fire powers and even the match colors behaved like a Puzzle Gauntlet V2 needing some degree of creativity in team choice, something the game doesn't encourage enough of.

As others have voiced, the grind was real and took away from the fun. The fact that the quests encouraged an in-efficient play style is at odds with the way the majority of the game is set-up where speed is of the essence. Some thought to what events are live and characters boosted if they run again would be great.

Would also be great to have the quests all live in a Tier, then there would be synergy doable while completing quests which would ease the grind.

I did a lot of the grind up front when puzzle gauntlet was still running. And that helped immeasurably. I got through tier 3 while it was still running and honestly that meant that I could grind out tier 4 once it was gone. I’m in so much iso debt it isn’t funny, so having the iso to champ 5*’s ahead of schedule was a mission.

I’ve only got 2 tasks in tier 4 but as I don’t have the powers I won’t be able to finish. Really enjoyed it and loved the rewards especially the iso

    Too much repetition in tasks

I wanted the ISO, but couldn't finish and voted "Too much repetition in tasks" - it just didn't feel at all natural to integrate in play (maybe would be for people at 4* tier), and frankly I was fed up of jumping through hoops one-by-one before even reaching the 3rd set.
    Tweaks that would have helped:

Present all tasks for each tier at once!
Instead of specific powers to use, make it any power for any version of each character.
