For me it would/could also change the way some people play, they would play more and take more risks with other teams. They may use sim to actually experiment a bit more the way people with sandboxed accounts can. When you have only 30 minutes or a an hour window to play and do PVP and PVE I could see why you would stick to a reliable same old team with 10 health packs.
I don't think they'll ever sell unlimited health packs. Health packs serve a really important purpose in the game, in that they limit playtime. I know "health packs=profits" is a meme, but very few players actually buy packs, even among the most competitive. For those who spend, who want to grind...well, even the spendiest, grindiest players today can't afford to play forever.
If they sold unlimited packs, you'd have some players playing 24/7 (or near enough to it) and then others would need to do that to keep up with them. It turns into the whole tapping thing again. It's a bad look for game developers to have players die playing your game.
Haven't been a VIP since 2019, so snapped this up as soon as Steam updated the price to GBP 0.79 (GBP 0.99 on Android)!
After a few restarts, the price dropped to €0,79. That's a steal.
This deal will last all month. So if you have VIP already and it doesn't expire till, say, 4/29, you can still take advantage of it.
As for ongoing pricing, it won't stay at $1 permanently, this is a one month only offer. The improved rewards with VIP aren't tied to this, they were implemented separately and happened to coincide with it. When looking at it, we didn't see leaving out a readily applicable feature as something we wanted to keep back for this one month deal. So the improved rewards just kind of "came with".
I restarted again and still no love for Kindle Fire. Oh well.
Been seeing on social and such that we're trying to get people into paying, then resetting the price and having them pay the normal price through auto-update. VIP isn't a subscription. So no, not only not what we're doing, but not even possible.
I wish VIP did more, like auto-complete DDQ

That's a one time special deal. It's not permanent. Let's talk again when it's permanent. It will be back the normal package once this $1 VIP is used up.
