Boss Events?

So wait is it gonna mess with my aliiance if I just clear all nodes and as many boss fight nodes as possible on the  remastered side? I haven't lost a node, boss or otherwise in any of the last 4+ boss events, so I usually hit personal progression before the team progression finishes and playing on the regular reset schedule lets me contribute enough for the alliance to make full progression between the top 5 or so of us in the Alliance. So is it ok for me just to full clear every node available til I hit personal progression on Re-Mastered then swap to De-Mastered or will that really throw things off? I'm not in your alliance, just looking for advice.
if only a few people in your alliance get full progression,  then you should do it all on one side

Demastered is more similar to cl9 rewards.
Remastered is more similar to cl10 rewards.

I'll be interested to see how they "simplify" the left side.

Here is the write-up I did for my alliance for Civil War (slightly edited to be a little less confusing to casual readers for the current event).  (DISCLAIMER: I don't know how close some of the details are to Civil War, so some of this information may not apply or may be slightly different.  Specifically, I won't know whether the side nodes are "mirrored" until the event starts.)

Rule of thumb: We are focusing on TEAM IRON MAN. This means we will hit:
    - BOSS NODES on the RIGHT
    - SIDE NODES on the LEFT
... until we get through at least round 7, at which point, scroll to the bottom for instructions.

For those unfamiliar with how Civil War works, there are two bosses, each with its own sub screen. Each has five nodes and they are MIRRORED (a key concept).

Clearing either boss node unlocks all side nodes (on both sides); likewise, clearing any side node unlocks both boss nodes. So you can clear a side node on the Team Cap side and then do a boss hit on the Team Iron Man side.

Also important about the side nodes being mirrored: When you clear a side node, its matching node on the other team is also disabled.

This can be useful for those with limited rosters, since if you don’t have a particular required character for one side, you can still clear that node on the other side.

Round 1 will require 12 boss clears.
Round 2 will require 14 boss clears.
Round 3 will require 30 boss clears.
(Remember: boss on the right — side node on the left — back to boss on the right.)
Round 4 will require 59 boss clears. That’s only 3 apiece for 20 members.
Round 5 will require 94 boss clears, or approximately 18 “sets” of clears.

My definition of a “set” of clears is one player clearing all of the side nodes and doing all 5 boss clears for a refresh cycle. This does not take into account free boss clears from round flips.

Note, too, that as we clear side nodes on the other team, there will occasionally be round flips there, too, which will trigger extra free boss clears on our focus side. (For example, when we clear round 1 on the left — Team Cap — we will gain a free boss clear on the right, Team Iron Man.)

    Data:

    R1: 70,000 target/6,122 boss
    R2: 120,000/9,061
    R3: 350,000/12,000
    R4: 880,000/14,939
    R5: 1,800,000/19,289
    R6: 3,000,000/28,402
    R7: 4,800,000/41,868
    R8: 9,700,000/61,213

    Side node values, by refresh:

    1st: 1225-1215-1230-1220-1235
    2nd: 1810-1780-1856-1825-1790
    3rd: 2150-2050-2100-2085-2115
    4th: 2450-2450-2300-2440-2360
    5th: 3000-2950-3030-2850-3109
    6th: 3300-3277-3723-3547-3153
    7th: 3830-3990-3850-3760-3859
    8th: 5680-5820-5620-5692-5590
    9th: 7200-6760-6400-6610-7030

    ROUND 8 STRATEGY
Once the right side flips to Round 8, players should only play the right side until they reach personal progression, after which they should do side nodes AND boss nodes on the left.

So my main take away is the side nodes are paired? So if I do a De-Mastered node it'll lock one on the Re-Mastered side.

I'd love to be able to coordinate alliance events like this in-game without having to rely on Line or Discord...

The splitting method (i.e.  focusing on Side nodes using one tab, while Boss nodes focus on the other tab), is meant for advanced alliances trying to clear both sides for total rewards. It’s meant to get the highest number of points using free boss hits and round flipping and stuff like that. If you think your alliance is advanced enough and can clear both, then a few people not doing it “properly” probably isn’t a big deal, but the more people who do it, the better your chances are.

But if you think your alliance is a bit more casual and usually only clears a normal boss event on the last day, then I’d recommend clarifying which boss or side you want to focus on and make sure everyone only hits that side.

I'd love to get all MPQ information officially posted here without having to rely on Reddit or Discord. (Thank-you to the folks who cross pollinate.)

Same here, I'm not on Discord, Reddit, Twitter, ... so it would be nice to get all necessary information here.

I can confirm that this is the case. This event is functioning exactly like Civil War in that way.

Does anybody know why the side nodes have 2 rewards listed? I don't see any method to get both...

yeah if you have an alliance like mine (Hallo Helden) a lot of players just do whatever and you hope for the best. Already knew of this strategy and was posting it, but still 4 players just hit all boss and nodes on the De-masterd side. We are very casual but still.

I think I played Civil War once on my old account but it was so long ago I barely remember haha. We made full team progression with a day plus to spare last event, and I made personal in like a day so hopefully we'll be able to do both, but if not, we should still get all of Re-Mastered. We're more casual than an alliance coordinating with line or disc so advanced strats won't be too effective. I'm still in late 4* land tho, and new Frost5 is one of the last 3 5*s I still haven't rostered yet, so even 2 covers is good for me. I only use a couple 5*s to clear SCL10 at this point anyhow, long as I have the requireds its all good.

For reference, my alliance finished Civil War on each of its last three runs.  The first time we did it with only 2 hours to spare; the last two times we did much better ... but it was still noon on Sunday (about 12 hours left) before we finished both times.

Edit: At the time, we were routinely finishing a normal boss event on Saturday morning.

You even can read "captain america " on demastered an "iron man" on remastered.
Nodes and bosses are conected so the old way to play civil War event is alive again.
We will try to get all rewards possible on my alliance but playing outside the weekend probably will be an unknown factor.
Still EF 3* covers are great reward for to grind.

Me too.  Don't do social media, never have never will.  Even being on here is toeing the social media line, but it's kept strictly to game related items so I guess it's alright.

Me too. I'm a forums kind of guy, I occasionally use Reddit for the same - community knowledge on anime release dates, checking to see whats popular this cour, that level of thing. Not much of a fan o the sochemede tho. I liked the early aught's forum style of internet interaction. The occasional bit o good advice or a good conversation (or argument) with an anonymous stranger, where the only thing connecting you is a shared communal interest and the happenstance of looking in the same place at the same time haha. Mkre than that becomes a vacuum of energy and attention as far as I've discerned. Maybe I'm just getting old tho.

Having played through my first clear it isn't overly obvious what powers Arcade may have as an actual character. There is obviously some sort of trap based power that the opposition can't see but is disabled by Arcade's own match. Is that all he does at present? He was dead before I really got too far in.

He hasn't lasted long enough for me to see him do anything, either.

I will also note that though it says he can't be stunned, Chasm apparently wasn't notified.

Maybe the Boss enemies' immunity to stun is a start of round effect like BRB placing Protect tiles?
