Is this similar to civil war where you can play missions on either side to unlock the boss battle? Can both sides be played to competition like civil war for all rewards?  Details please.

If its one only and you choose which to do be sure to check the rewards before you choose, the 1st one only has 375 shards for 5*Frost as the personal track full progression reward, while the 2nd one has a full cover. Might be worth sacrificing the 25 shards if you already have the color cover offered in the personal track, but if you're still looking to get the character covered at all like me it would be a bummer to lose em on accident.

Maybe one is old school 8 bit and the other is what we're all used to for the visual gameplay?  And like @NemoAbernnigan said, the rewards are different so keep that in mind too.

Yes - was confirmed on the discord that it's exactly like Civil war except it has a new hat.

    pumped for it!

I was never around for a Civil War Boss Event. Anyone care to go into detail as it’s specifics?

There were 2 sides Team Cap and Team Iron Man. You could make progression on both sides, but if your alliance coordinated to one side it was much easier to get to full progression.

The affiliated characters were buffed on their side.

I seem to recall Optimal strategy for high performing alliances was to do all your boss clears on one side and your node clears on the other, then switch when you hit full progression on the side you were doing boss clears on and it’s possible to clear both sides.

Yeah pretty much. Here’s what I’ve told my alliance:

    Murderworld Strategy

The primary side will be RE-mastered (probably will be on the right side of the two tiles).

We will start with trying to allow for as many alliance members as possible to take their free opening hit on REmastered (right). The same for the free hits for each round. A perfect clear this way should get us through the start of Round 3 before any side node clears are needed. (Use your judgement, it’s not worth missing hits overall if you have time constraints).

When you’re ready to do side nodes do them on DEmastered (left). Keep doing boss clears on REmastered (right). Keep this strategy until one of the following happens:
    - You clear personal progression on either side. At that point, do all attacks on the non-cleared side.
    - Alliance clears personal progression on that side. At this point either put all your focus on the other side or at least boss focus if not already.
    - If at any point the boss becomes too difficult for your roster, switch to the other side. It’s better to clear the opposite side than to die on the boss (unless both sides are too difficult, then do your best).

I guess you wrote all that on line, not on the in-game Jurassic Chat.

    No double iso?
Would have been nice on the side nodes.
It's listed under double iso in the thread, but doesn't have the banner.

So wait is it gonna mess with my aliiance if I just clear all nodes and as many boss fight nodes as possible on the  remastered side? I haven't lost a node, boss or otherwise in any of the last 4+ boss events, so I usually hit personal progression before the team progression finishes and playing on the regular reset schedule lets me contribute enough for the alliance to make full progression between the top 5 or so of us in the Alliance. So is it ok for me just to full clear every node available til I hit personal progression on Re-Mastered then swap to De-Mastered or will that really throw things off? I'm not in your alliance, just looking for advice.

I’m Suuuuuper curious why demastered  got a reward reduction; civil war wasn’t like that. It has all the same progression Point requirements so unless all it’s nodes are worth a ton more to make it easier, it seems like the choice on which to play is a total no brainer?

Demastered is nerfed to let newer rosters progress further according to discord and Reddit.

I don’t see a difference in the rewards, other than a different 4-star.

Personal prog only has 375 Emma shards, not a full cover.

Thanks, I missed that. I saw the earlier progression Emma shards, not realizing they were for the 3-star.

There are quite a few differences: Remastered also has more ISO, a full 4* cover and 150 4* shards more than the Demastered, but a bit less 3* shards.
