MPQ Ninth Anniversary Details - October 2022

Hi all! It's Marvel Puzzle Quest's 9th Anniversary! Feels like only yesterday we were gearing up to release Unstable Iso-8 and its first new character to the game, Captain America, and X-Force Wolverine was only attainable by super lucky players. How times have changed! Now we've got over 250 different characters in the game, more coming all the time, dozens of different PVE events, Boss Battles, Puzzle Ops... And the game just keeps growing!

 So join us for our 9th Anniversary, where we'll bring you a taste of things to come. Check out a brand new Boss Event featuring Murderworld! Bring Doop to the party, with his bevy of varied abilities! And a little later, after you've taught Arcade a lesson, invite him for a slice of cake on your very own roster with both a 3 and 5 Star variety! Not to mention Devil Dino, Howard the Duck, Taskmaster, and more coming back for seconds. So come one, come all, and enjoy a celebration of another great year in MPQ!

    I'm sold at Arcade and Murderworld Boss Event (I've always thought he would be perfect for a Boss in this game!).

    But Doop? A MONTH of double ISO? What looks like a great PVP season for celebrating MPQ, loads of freebies, TWO Anniversary vaults? (curious about tokens carrying from one to the other, resetting, and that kind of thing)

    Fan Favorites with Shang Chi, Kitty, and Beta Ray Bill?

    This is some good stuff, right here!

    Hello IceIX. With the FF vault has there been any internal talk about allowing swaps for the 5*? Many of the veteran players and quite frankly the spenders have Bill at 550 and won’t be able to participate. Just curious and thank you for your time.

    No swaps are planned.

    SC pvp! That will be a comfortable one.
    And I expect a lot of fun on arcade boss event.

    Our next 4* is Doop? I don't know the two of them and Doop could even overcome Thor in strength. Arcade looks like a combination of DC's Joker/Riddler and Kingpin.

    Those two are really interesting characters. I hope their abilities are wacky.

    Can we get an idea on what the 5* legendary release store for Arcade will be?  Since it is an anniversary event, it would be nice to know what is in it..  It would be helpful to know so that we can manage our CP wisely.

    Looking forward to the double vault, especially with the Costumes in the 2nd one. I have Devil Dino but I need the Taskmaster one.

    Also excited for the Murderworld Boss event.

    Lots here for everyone even if the Fan Favorites isn't something I'm interested in (already fully covered those 5*).

    I am here for Murderworld! Not physically, I doubt I'd last five seconds if dropped into that death trap. Super excited. And Arcade as a playable character could be crazy fun.

    Looks fantastic. Shame no okoye or apoc so I’ve hoarded for nothing again but hopefully one day I can fatten them up. Not interested in Shang or BRB.

    Boss event on a Monday, first non weekend boss event??  And it's before the next 5* release.  Wonder if we'll get 5* covers or FF tokens.

    Also currently no PVE at the same time as the boss by the looks of things.
