Class Action Tournament Points Counting Toward Current Mind Stone Season (8/21/22)

Correction: Updated copy below to reflect points only earned during Mind Stone Season will be applied to Season Score.

Hi Everyone - 

The Class Action Tournament event is mistakenly labeled for the Mind Stone Season and is counting points for the season as well.  This will not be able to be corrected so the season will have one additional event that only includes the points that are earned during the scheduled Mind Stone Season.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

    Now the screw ups are becoming annoying.  

    And what about shield sim?  Is that going to end at it's proper time or is it extended as well?  Also, will the season scoreboard disappear tonight leaving us all in the dark about where we stand?  I got a top 10 in jeopardy now.

    Not good… so people playing s1 will have more time to get points… and people doing s4 will get cutoff after like 3 hrs?

    Can we have some clarification as to whether or not the entire season is being extended by 3 days or whether the season will end today but those in slice 1-4 will be able to add points to the season while slice 5 is locked out?  @LakeStone

    More communication lately. And more screw ups. I hope the season stone chase that some s1 players thought ended 4 hours ago and was going to be decided  by less than 300 points isn’t affected by this absolute disaster. 
    If it is I hope our all knowing overlords are sensible enough to provide compensation. 

    Always great to play a game where the rules change in the last 8 hours of a 650 hour game. With no notice.

    I don't want to assume, but if y'all don't have some kind of checklist system that needs to be signed or initialed before each event goes live for accountability, you would seriously benefit from it. 

    Are the rewards correct? 
    Are the end times correct? 
    Is the boost list correct? 
    Is an off season PvP event correctly listed as such, and not giving points to the season score? 

    Feel free to add more. 

    So in cases like this, it's just a simple matter of reviewing who signed off on what. 

    "Steve, you signed off saying that the Class Action She-Hulk PvP wouldn't be tied to the season and points for the event wouldn't contribute to the season score. Care to explain why that isn't happening?"

    For crying out loud, get it together Steve. Clearly the only way to fix this is to award everyone who played this season a Mind Stone.

    Can you make an annoucement in the game? Not every player is reading forum posts frequently.

    Thank you for the communication regarding this issue. Certainly nobody wanted the Stone Season to end this way, but I understand that mistakes happen.

    You just screwed an entire slice out of bonus points. S5 had no opportunity in adding to the season score. s4 only had 3 hours. s3 had 9 hours. i'm at a loss for words. Players who were going for top100, top50, top10, lost out on so much . just because of this mislabel. 

    Let alone, i want to meet the person who decided to approve this god-awful PVP of IMOHulk and Scarlet in the same event.  What was that person thinking? did they even play to see what was going to happen? it is time to declare death on Scarlet, lets nerf the damage reduction. this adds to what i've been saying, time to speed up pvp. It's too slow with god boosts and the high health.

    Look let her have her last hurrah. Jane put the nail in her coffin and Chasm buried her. She is about to become an afterthought.

    What's stopping S5 from participating in other slices to gain points for this particular mishap? You will be able to breeze to 1500-2000 easily unlike the drought at S5, where you need to crawl your way up to 1200-1300.

    IF they hear about it in time. S5 players are on a completely different schedule than S1. Some people in my ally pre-joined other slices before anyone knew about this new example of incompetence. So they're fairly screwed. A month's worth of hard work and in-game resources potentially undone. But hey, they apologize IF any of us are inconvenienced. Like IF any of us had plans today, for the start of off-season, that didn't involved having to rage climb S1 real quick.

    Thank you for all the feedback here.  We understand the concerns and frustrations and will review this tomorrow when everyone is in the office to improve the experience and prevent problems like this one.  To answer the question about when this season ends and how points are applied, it does look like the season will end at what is scheduled so only points earned in this event until the conclusion of this season will be earned for the Mind Stone Season.
