- MPs: BSZ, Summoner's Pact, Ball Lightning
- Mythics: Djinn of Wishes, Apex of Power, Isolate
- Rares: Vivien's Invocation
- Uncommons: Scapeshift, Rupture Spire
That set single-handedly wrecked Standard in its time and is still a major part of Legacy1 -

Hour of Devastation (HOU)Plus you won't see the rares and uncommons in the elite pack anyway0

Kaladesh (KLD)Summoner's Pact with Omni is a waste of shields. BSZ doesn't work with Omni because Omni doesn't give cards stored mana. I guess some people play Ball Lightning with Omni but I personally use it with Kalemne HUF/Deploy. Apex is 100% an Omni deck staple.
Oktagon's question was "Which Legacy set are you trying to complete" but never mentioned anything about Elite Packs. I know that everyone wants Omni and that's why they chose HOD. But is it the best set to complete? I don't know the answer since I've never thought about that before lol0 -

Kaladesh (KLD)Mainloop25 said:Oh ok. I never got an BSZ so I never bothered to see how it worked.. Sometimes I check the battle log and see it in Omni decks though. So I guess it's all about how you use itBSZ needs it's stored mana filled to function. Because Omni reduces the base cost to 0, BSZ cant draw cards, and possibly cant even cast if it didnt already have some stored mana. I'm fairly certain it wont gain mana either with Omni out due to how stored mana cards behave when the game thinks they are full (base cost of 0). They definitely shouldnt be used together.I didnt have Omni when it was standard legal so I cant comment on it's usefulness then, but BSZ was an auto-include in any deck running blue. There was almost never a reason not to include it. At full strength (full stored mana and no other cards in hand) you get 6 cards that each gain 10 mana. Even in legacy, if you are running blue, and it's not explicitly an Omni deck, BSZ is almost always an auto-include. This is all post nerf, where it used to be a whole lot stronger.People forget about it because it doesnt have the splash Omni does when Greg plays it, but in our hands BSZ is incredible.2
