When to use CP and LL tokens

dianetics said:I'm glad I made the jump, because the extra stuff I got from PvE cl10 made it much easier to get the second champ faster, and now here after a year I'm at 5 champs with 4 5's between 10-12 covers. From, 25-30 4* champs to almost 100.
I waited years to even try to pushing and I wish I did it earlier.
The initial jump was a pain for PvP, but I did well in PvE using C4rnage, Polaris, and Heimdall until I get more very good 4's.3 -
I never actually came to the forums until after I champed my first five and I was getting my butt handed to me in PvP.I came to try and figure out what was happening. I made a concerted effort to push the second one and hoard all my resources.
I decided on an upgrade path and focused on waiting for the right characters to be released. It made the game a lot more enjoyable.2 -
I wanted to reopen this discussion as I want to THANK EVERYONE who advised me to get Shang-Chi…his damage is unreal! I finally got him fully covered and got him to level 450. My MMR was raised, but I can attack players I never dreamed of attacking now.
Again..thank you!5 -

The problem with these things is is everyone is at different stages in the game so sometimes their advice won't actually apply to you.
I'm pretty sure wherever you are in the game shang chi would be a very useful character to have though, the only people I know that didn't pull didn't need to.
He will help u immensely in clearing scl10 pve and can help you hit 1200 too if you don't have the characters to do it on any given event1 -
I'm a F2P player and I'm in day 420.
I don't regret anything in my path 'til today.
When I started playing the game I came to the forums to seek advice (and google too) I learned that having at the beginning a 4* char with 1 cover is useless, So I sell my Thanos and used the slot for a 2/3*.
I learned that the two most importants things in the game were Hero Points for roster slots and ISO for level-up characters, so I saved them.
I learned that using mighty tokens and CP in the early stages of the game were senseless, so I saved them.
I learned that the 1st choice for favs were 3* Doctor Strange, 4* Polaris and 5* Okoye so I switched my personal comics favs to the most useful in the game (the above).
I learned that when you have all the 2* tier rosted, having all the 1* tier is useless, just because you need only one char for the DDQ so I changed 1* for 3*.
I play every DDQ, even if I can only complete 1, 2 or 3 nodes. With the time I will be able to complete more and more..
I climbed the SCL and allways played the highest available (in both PVP and PVE) for better rewards.
In the meantime I was able to test the upcoming 4* and 5* in their featured PVP and feeling for myself how confortable I'm playing with they.
I made my decission with 5* Wanda/Colossus. I really, really want they in my roster so I pulled all I've in their LL store (altough in this time I was starting buiding my 4* tier).
And now, here I am. I have Wanda champed at 451, Colossus a 9 covers and Sang-Chi at 7. Farming the 2* tier. Raising the 3* until the max. Building the 4* tier getting any new 4* char when released and complete the rest when I have the required Hero Points (this is my actual wall)
I'm at SCL9 and, in PVE I'm able to reach full progression and recruiting the next required 4* for the upcoming event when I don't have it. Being crushed for by higher rosters in PVP but being able to reach my goal: 75 wins and top 50-100 in final standings.
This is my conclussions:
- Make your own decissions in the game.
- Be consistent in your progression
- When a 5* appears and your feelings with him were good, go to hell and die for him.
- Don't worry for the 4* covers you can left in the way, they will give you ISO (also very important)
- Don't panic for the opponents in the PVP. There's allways anyone you can beat.
- Climb the SCL ladder and play the higher level you can, The rewards deserve it.
- Don't eat all the pie in one day/month/year. Just a bit every day, but bite every day.
Just my POV about the game.6
