    Of all the toons col5 seems to be the most troublesome.
    Mantis is a swipe aside. Leave knull for last. Go after 5witch first and col5 second.
    My electro seems to be crushing 5witch and opposing knulls aren't doing much,
    Shang Chi is probably the scariest with 5witch and col5 right now, but there aren't many.

    This is a rough one for me also, even with most of the available 5s champed. Really hangs a hat on characters being pre-nerfed to account for power boosters who are locked out of this event.

    I have been getting a surprising amount of use out of Elsa, her red has been handy against YJ, Mags and Throg teams. Mostly it is Colossus/Switch but I have seen a fair few of the 4* on teams and some undercovered 5 teams.

    Odin is a gem in this pvp, especially against Wanda. When you hit a cascade, Wanda's is going to hit you back that many times. Odin jumps in and take 1 damage.  :o The trick is probably to let Odin tank one or two colours. On top of that, his strike tiles and healing will help you.

    It is never more obvious what a crutch Polaris is than when they take her away from me. I wish SM2099 was released this year.

    Running col5 5witch electro and damn near 1shot ronin with electros black 75k+.
    I have yet to see Odin out there yet though. Most common team is col witch and knull.

    It’s so crazy, every single fight is a 3 health pack recovery lol.

    Give me a PvP without Polaris and I’ll play all day every day . To me , I feel like if I used Polaris I’d be the same type of person who uses a GPS to drive anywhere further than 2 miles.

    Despite all the negative feedbacks Odin got, he can help you save healthpacks in this pvp. I don't know what state your odin is, but he does help.  If your Odin is 5/x/5 it will be awesome. Don't level him up too much. Find a range that allows him to trigger his passive frequently enough and yet, allow him some survivability.

    This sounds like SW boost week.  The problem when she's on both teams 100% of the time is that she's the only one allowed to do any damage.  The fights just drag out forever because she blocks everything but her own, and her own damage is pretty low.

    My Current latest are:
    Electro - 5/2/4 unleveled
    Odin - 3/4/2 unleveled
    Shang-Chi - 1/2/0 unleveled

    and the still New Ultron is unrostered. I have all the other 5*s from this year champed though.

    I use Polaris a lot, but usually as a counter to Polaris. It's an easy way to rack up points. I have most of the characters so I'm having a blast. I don't miss Polaris except when I run into a team that spams.

    Wanda/Colossus + heavy hitter will work. Fill the board with blue via Wanda. Remove her repeater with Colossus's blue and then down Wanda with your heavy hitter. Once Wanda is down, you won't be taking much damage. 

    Looking at this year releases:

    5*
    Adam Warlock, Colossus, Cyclops, Electro, Knull, Magneto, Odin, Ronan, Scarlett Witch, Shang-Chi, Ultron, Yellowjacket

    We have multiple:

    1) match damage boost
    2) heals
    3) defensive abilities
    4) anti-defense abilities that bypass protect tiles and power reduction
    5) varying offensive mechanics like Shang Chi and Yellowjacket.

    We have one stun, one trap and one invisibility though.

    4*
    Beast, Elsa, Kate, Lizard, Loki, Mantis, Monica, Morbius, Red Guardian, Scorpion, Silk, Hydra Stomper, Throg

    We have mutiple of

    1) anti-special tiles abilities
    2) charged tiles abilities
    3) stun abilities
    4) passive special tiles spamming abilities

    We also have two who have anti-airborne, anti-invisibility and ap steal abilities. Finally, we have only one web ability.

    Looking at these two tiers, they use different ways of defending against meta of their time. In 5* tier, we hardly have stun ability. 

    I hope to see one or two more 5* characters who can synergise around web tiles within the next one year. 5* character who can send enemy airborne will be fun as well. Do you want to see 2-3 more 5* who can stun for Class of 2022?

    We *desperately* need 5* stuns if they're going to keep cranking out powerful always-on passives. 

    Stuns are the only consistent, quick way we can deal with stuff like SW or Beta Ray Bill passives, and they're sorely lacking at the 5* tier right now.

    I get why they don't want to do them (it's no fun being stunlocked, or having your overpowered passive get turned off), but we really need some better tools to deal with the current crop of passives.

    I would say the majority of the teams in pvp is filled with W&C + Mantis, followed by Knull. 

    I prefer airborne mechanic because there's some sort of niche strategy around it compared to stun. For example, if you have multiple random attacks like BRB or Apocalypse does, sending one of the enemy airborne will allow you to concentrate your random attacks on the other one or two enemies. Besides, zero 5* has this ability.

    Odin is at the top. On the few people having him( you can't say I didn't warned about him in his thread lol).
    I saw as a third wheel odin, knull, mantis and ronan.
    Comfortably climbing and crushing down teams with my champed SC.

    It's a great team and all three have their role, as colossus can hit hard and also erase mystic feedback.

    This event is a huge waste of time, the big hitters will have a chance as they will have everyone champed I only have mags and knull champed and although knull is a good character he can’t beat a full powered switch and colossus amongst others

    so I’ll leave this one I think

    I had pretty much the exact opposite experience.  I ran Steel Witch most of the time but my third character I swapped out frequently.  Ran Shang-Chi loaner a bunch since he is fun and can beat anything if you have the time to pay attention, ran some Mantis, some Knull and some Alligator Loki for the lolz.  Didn't ever get to 0 health packs, hit 1200 without a single grill in 57 matches.
