I think I'm going to go for fun this time. It'll affect my placement, but high placement is way more effort than it's worth to me.

Oh my naive padawan...  Gritty is the least of your worries.

Welcome to boosted Coul-Hawk with boosted HammerCap.

The marketing for this anniversary was disappointing. Which goes hand In hand with poor planning. Let's not forget the communication.

Seriously, I don't understand why they treat everything like it's some super top secret thing around here. We have a brand new event coming in a couple of days and there's been nothing about that either.

Most games will hype this sort of stuff up to build excitement. MPQ just sort of shoves it out like they're hoping no one will notice.
They sort of have talked about it in interviews and the Anniversary FAQ.

The recent take on new events is to avoid giving anything away so players can discover the story, nodes etc.  I am not surprised at the same approach this time.......

I was going to say something about that team, but then the characters boosted in Class of 2017 are really awesome that I think they will manage fine.

Yep, bring a blue user who can take care of WCap after denying blue and red AP from enemy Hawkeye (G4mora, Vulture, Mordo, Ironheart's blue/red combo, etc).

C4rol can be ready to one shot Coulson or Hawkeye, just be careful that her match damage doesn't trigger WCap along the way until he's down.

If you only play your 5* teams, you should probably consider bringing up at least one boosted 4* so their match damage keeps from triggering enemy WCap too easily.

 next year.. It'll be your turn, Kraven..

Joking aside, I don't think Kraven's debuffing (when not boosted) is enough to outpace Kitty when Rocket is boosted due to his high starting values.
It's not enough even when Grocket aren't boosted. I think he can keep up with Nico pretty well, but Kitty is out of his league.

Here is the event:  There is some nodes where you fight three characters with your own team of three.

Please don't ban me and delete my account for spoiling your game, D3.

Sorry, playing some catch-up since NYCC.  We updated the calendar here but will have a complete list with more details tomorrow. https://d3go.helpshift.com/a/marvel-puzzle-quest/?s=news&f=marvel-puzzle-quest-6th-anniversary-celebration-9-30-19&l=en

I clicked on the link and see it was last updated yesterday and the updates go through the anniversary conclusion. Is it safe to say there are no more details or is there a further update dropping today? Thanks for any info you can provide.

I'm hoping that this new event will work in a similar way to Strange Sights where you can choose which sub you want to do each day. Big boss fight, wave nodes, lots of tokens, all that. It would explain why they didn't run Strange Sights. Maybe Deadpool vs MPQ was the next most popular behind Strange Sights and Webbed Wonder so they opted to hold off on running Strange Sights for now.

But if that's not the case and Lost in Time is like pretty much every other event then that'll be disappointing.

    @IceIX
    No Feeders?
    No new game mode?
    Nothing new on supports?
Just the same old same old as before?

When we will I’ll get something meaningful in this darn game again?

Probably never at this point...   The game is 6 years old, the team working on this is probably small(er). Best you can hope for is more characters! -____-
