So basically last Anniversary I had acquired enough covers to champ loveable old DD and with their time to shine coming up the question is - do I bite (or chomp) the bit and go for it? I know DD is kind'a useless but well, it sort'a seems like the time has come. But...useless. Hmm...as Marvel once said - U Decide! I will abide by this poll result unless it tells me that Triceratops aren't the*best* Dino's...

    Mine is currently sitting at 11 covers, and I've thought about adding ISO to him ahead of Anniversary hoping to nab those last 3 covers during Anniversary vaults. Maybe I'll get more Taskmaster covers, too...

    He was one of earliest high level 4s.  I ran him in PVP with champed Carol and Peggy, to bring purple and be a shield.  So I have a soft spot for DD.  And you'll get champ levels during special events from time to time (Howard maybe more so)

    This costume is the #1 thing I want from this Anniversary by a pretty good margin.

    As someone who had Devil Dinosaur as their first 4* champion, I say go for it.  While nothing can ever compare to having DD for single-champ-4* MMR in the RRRRAAAWWWR PVP event (and, yes, I did look up the spelling of that event name), having a champed Dino is always better than not having one :)

    Do it. I champed mine last year and this year will probably champ Howard since I don't have a lot of 4s that I really want to champ besides him.

    I champed mine last year and with the saved covers have him around 285ish. Given you can easily acquire 10+ covers on the anniversary event he will move to 295+ after this anniversary.

    Meanwhile my highest level 4* characters are around 300 (those were the ones from the earliest days of latest 12 like Carol/Medusa/Gamora/Grocket etc). With dilution down to 1% now it means I expect Devil Dino to max champ in another 5-6 years *before* any other 4* character does (roughly 1000 LT's = 10 champ levels on a 4*) :'(

    So yeah, you should champ him because he may max champ before any 4* released in the last 2+ years unless you are heavily BH'ing them.

    Not unless you've champed every other 13 cover 4* in your roster first. Even Talos.

    I might even skip it if you have some at 10 or more covers.

    I'm probably going to champ mine if I can come up with the iso by then. He's been sitting at 13+8 for awhile now. I champed Howard the other day, and I'm similarly hoping to pull down some Taskmasters and Hams if I can next week.

    DD is kinda useless but disco-arms(tm) should be reason enough, on their own, to champ him. Disco-arms and smoking jacket combo? Yes! Yes! Yes!

    I've champed him 2 years ago, becoming my highest level: 280. While Captain marvel my second highest character was around 266.
    Next year (so... last year), because captain marvel level increaed to 280, Devil Dino wanted to stay top dog and hoarded 24 covers to increase his level to 304.
    That year, Captain Marvel is soon to be reaching level 300. Who knows how many level Devil Dino will take to stay in front !?

    Out of stat, I'm not playing him often, but that's always a pleasure. He's a nice fodder for Thanos, that's so awesome to play him when required in the jungle. And these tiny giggling arms, who can resist?
