They should only do the one’s we haven’t had yet, maybe a few of the one’s we have had only once like Angrath, Elspeth etc.

Popular theory I heard somewhere is that the ??? on the top right is Venser's Daughter.
No idea if its right or not, but I buy it

I’m more convinced that it may be Tacenda, based on recent story and the shape of the staff.

Reading the novella, I didn't get the impression that Davriel Cane was a Vader wannabe. I'm optimistic that it could be the Raven Man even though he probably doesn't exist. I like the Tacenda theory, def looks like a Heron staff. Curious about Raiden chick.

I'd like to see all the ones not currently in the game made as PWs and the rest handled another way...

Just looked up Tacenda.... from what I read, she uses a viol rather than a staff to focus her powers. If my understanding is correct, that can't be her.

Also regarding the Venser connection.... does Venser even have children? I don't recall any hint to that effect in his story. In fact I would think if he had a daughter, it might have been less likely to kill himself.

Wonder what they will try to do to match the planeswalker in each pack also...... Perhaps points of some kind towards purchasing a planeswalker.... say 200 points gets you a planeswalker and points could be from 1 to 5 for each pack.....

probably nothing. Every Shadows over Innistrad pack had a flip card in it, and the PQ equivalent did not.

Is Garruk dead or something?  I'll admit to not being super well versed in MTG lore.

They've said he's not dead, just that not every planeswalker isn't on Ravnica for this. Also may have hinted that we will be seeing more of him in the near future.

Yeah, he's not much of a "team player" anyway lol.

I'm sure we'll see him again once this Bolas arc is wrapped up and everyone is dead.

And that was before Liliana cursed him.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him come back, but I don't want to see him wind up a generic villain or something... He's more super-predator now than anything.

Well based on the last story I remember seeing him in he's more a loner-outcast kind of guy now.  He isn't really actively hunting anyone (besides Liliana), but kills any walker who comes after him.

I hope they make him some sort of anti-hero (a la Punisher) when he comes back into the spotlight, but who knows right now.  I do want to see him with epic Stained Glass art now, though.

If Garruk had showed up on Ravnica during War of the Spark, it'd be like he went to the buffet.

In the beginning of the novella we see that Davriel dressed up like Vader and called himself "the lord of the manor" as part of his dealings with the town through the church.

Hmm... I always thought that the Raven Man was actually Bolas and how Bolas directed, controlled, and monitored Liliana.

I've been thinking that might be the case recently. I was reading the Amonkhet story for the first time and the Raven Man makes a big deal about killing all her demons so she can be free. And then Dominaria... well, killing all the demons really plays directly into Bolas' hands.

Yeah, I suspect the Raven Man is related to Bolas in some way as well.  Elder Dragons are known to occasionally shapeshift (although Bolas has showed scorn for that in the past).

The only issue with that theory I have is the why.  Bolas is a skilled necromancer himself with no need/desire for a lackey, and there is no way he could have been planning a way to regain his spark so many centuries before the Mending. Otherwise the Raven Man has played Liliana into his hands so perfectly its hard to believe they aren't related.
