Am I the only one about to get murdered by the Peggy Carter PVP?

I crawled from 380 to 755 this morning at 4am EST when apparently NO ONE else was playing. I have about 18 hours left or so, and I am shielded for the rest of the event if i want to tap out. Maybe I will try to push for 900 later though...

I actually managed to get to 900 this event, while I usually drop out after hitting 575! 
Before Peggy week I was the proud, but very sad owner of a 5/1/5 Peggy, with at least 5 red and blue covers that have died on the vine. 

Now, with the PVP900 yellow and the yellow in my Exiles Vault, which I managed to nab with two 10-packs, she's champed! The PVE Progression cover will get me a shiny LT!

Those two 10-packs also scored me a yellow Valkyrie and among other things, an Heroic Token which scored me a champ level for Antman. Sooooo, theoretically I got three 4*s for 1900 Hero Points. I'd take that deal any day of the week!

As a tried and true 3* player, when looking at the boost list, I just about skipped this PVP.  But I joined late and took a really odd approach...

Because of her "add ap" passive, and most players at my level have the loaner or very low level Peggy, I decided to just play with the exact same characters as my opponent and focus on knocking Peggy's health down.  Since I would be consuming the same tiles as my opponent, but focused on Peggy versus damage around the board, I would be able to fire powers faster once her "add ap" wore off.

Not a rockstar score, but got up to 744 pts without a loss.  I might have been able to go a little higher as I still had some beatable opponents yet.

However, it was a lot of fun.  Used all sorts of 3* pairs, even a couple lower-level 4s.

This event is great from a 5* perspective. Peggy makes Gambit WAY slower and works great with DD/Thor. Having lots of fun chewing through Thorbit teams without them firing a power.

And now back to our regularly scheduled program. A Punisher PvP. Green is best used by Thor, red can only be used by Gambit and black is useless. 

Sigh. This would be a perfect opportunity to run a 4* Pun event in parallel with the 3*

Gambit? Who's that? But still, green and red go to Thor. Best thing is at least Punisher will tank black instead of Thor.

Use black if you happen to have the AP. Some damage is better than no damage, and if he puts out attack tiles that can boost the damage of Thor's red.

Actually, now that I've done a few matches in the Pun event. DD/Thor work very well with him. Pun black for the attack tiles, DD strikes make them hit harder, DD stun damage gets really amplified, and usually by the time Thor generates enough red to fire Pun's red you can down the target. Matches are going pretty quickly
