Time Stone Season Updates (4/3/18)

Hi Everyone,

Here are the updates to the Time Stone season that will be starting on April 5th:

• The Infinity Gem Seasons have been updated to Infinity Stone Seasons, and their colors have been updated.
• Valkyrie (Asgardian Warrior) will be entering packs as a Latest 4-Star
• Vulture (Adrian Toomes) will become a Vintage 4-Star

I miss the much more straight forward season numbers. But I get they are promoting the upcoming movie. Wonder if they change it again after Phase 4 launches.

WOW!!!!  WE AGREE!!!!!   I liked the numbered seasons more.

It’ll probably be Valkyrie or Jubilee. It’s usually the most recently released 4*.

I have it a season since ice and will can back hoping that there was just a delay in release so they could review things.  Now I am officially disappointed in the devs.  The last big Addition was the black panther PVE which I really don’t consider a huge update.  The last balance update to characters was 2017???  Most mobile games get 2 major updates a year and multiple balance changes as needed.  MPQ has needed balance changes to gambit since release and the one they made was not enough.  What is worse is there are many other 5* that need updates as well and are just sitting around collecting dust.  The reality is any new update to the game that the devs might be working on is going to fall very flat if they don’t add some major balance updates as well.

Where is the new feature? I mean by now i lost any kind of interest in it. I just want Steam HUD to climb one more step in the "to do list"...

As desperate as I am for character re-balances, something big is clearly in the works and I'd be very surprised if it wasn't released this month, that way everything is in place for the wave of new players/customers following Avengers: Infinity War's release on 4/27.

It’ll probably be Valkyrie or Jubilee. It’s usually the most recently released 4*. 

Surely Valkyrie? Jubilee is not in tokens yet.

They've said before the reason they moved away from season numbers was specifically because the season numbers were getting too high, not because they were promoting the movie, so no chance they're going back to that

Infinity War will be the last search for signs of life, it will definitely bring in new players but they won't be whales.

It will be interesting to see where things go after that. I would imagine that the failure of Avengers Alliance 2 indicates a straight up sequel won't pass muster, and there's been another Marvel mobile game launch recently.

Interesting to see the deliberate switch from comic Infinity seasons (what the current gem seasons have been based on) to MCU Infinity seasons (they haven't confirmed it outright, but I presume that's why we're going from gem->stone and why the colors are updated). It's a tiny little thing, but it makes it sound like they're going to push marketing that much harder for Infinity War, which makes the upcoming updates more exciting.

That said, this thread kinda makes me wish aimless complaining was against the rules. I get that some people dislike the update because they feel it's lacking something, but the whining without any sort of constructive criticism is insufferable. If you aren't going to try and contribute to making things better, the least you could do is not stink up the place with your negativity for the rest of us.
