the only ones who can really stay competitive are the ones who don't have other commitments.
In other words; those that are free to take a seat at their PC to play a few quick rounds every few hours across the span of the day, ... like a lot of the mobile players are. icon_idea.gif

I've been holding onto hope since day one that there would eventually be a link between desktop and mobile, but it looks like that has completely been de-prioritized. My question for you guys is, how are you Steam users feeling? Is anyone else falling behind, disappointing its alliance, etc.?

IceIx, will you guys ever throw us Steam users a mobile bone?
We actually just had a decently long discussion about that again today. It's not completely deprioritized, just not finalized in any way, shape or form for either the positive or the negative. Only thing you're really missing out on as a pure Steam user is the Facebook rewards sharing which isn't much if you A) Don't have tons of friends playing or B) Don't game the system with 3 highly active FB friends on a pseudo account.

Was this a dodge or did he really read your comment and not realize you were talking about being restricted to playing in front of your computer?

As long as they are home sure. Otherwise they can't. Mobile players though even when they are not home can still jump on a play. All mobile players can do this, whereas only steam players who stay home all day are able to do this.
