Absorbing Man his a d-list dude with some A-list powers. I think he'd be fun
Oh come on, give Carl Creel some credit! He's at least a C-lister...  ;)

Marvel Dracula would be a pretty dope 5*; y'all remember that time he slapped Silver Surfer around, right?

    Lady Thor.

Killed frost giants in her first foray of being a hero. Can control Mjolnir in a way no previous holder has. Survived nearly being turned to gold by the Exterminatrix. Lifted an entire underwater laboratory out of the sea to save the Roxxon employees inside. Battled Odin to a standstill. Fought the gods of the Shi'iar and came out victorious. Defender of the realms.

I might be a little bias...

Emma Frost has yet to be added, and I think she would be worthy of a 5* entry. She is one of the most powerful telepaths in the Marvel verse, along with Prof X, Jean, Psylocke, and any of the Summers offspring children that have not been introduced into the game yet. She is def a power player, and hope to see her in this game sooner rather than later.

That's true; where are the other Summers's? Surely we'll get 5* Cable around the time DP2 hits, but what level does Havok belong to? Corsair (papa summers) is kind of Star Lord with a mustache, but I always thought he was cool

I don't think the Star Jammers will get an introduction into this game, lol!I If corsair made it he would be AP steal champ I'm sure, but like you said he is basically a Star Lord type character. Havok id say is a 4* just cause he is an Alpha level mutant, and cannot go toe to toe with some other heroes.

I think it was in the "Ultimate" universe, but Iceman was described as being an "Omega level mutant" at one point.  The inference was that he was just barely tapping into his powers with his ice form, and the matter manipulation he's capable of put him on-par or better than Magneto.

I would like to throw two people’s names in there, don’t think they’ve been mentioned yet:

    - Quake, she stopped Wolverine dead in her first comic story, exploding his heart from the inside. She literally can stop anyone, at anytime, with one hand gesture.

    - Nick Fury, he runs SHIELD, he organised the Avengers and he always, always has a back-up plan for everything and anything. Plus, it’s Samuel L Jackson, what more needs to be said?

Though not playable, apocalypse and galactus are definitely worthy of 5 star.

Ares and sentry by definition should be much higher, though Loki is not worthy just because he is a “god”

as mentioned by many... prof x, magneto, doom

I’d say all “human” characters are not 5s... so there goes hawk eye, widow, panther, iron man, quill, DD.

If I was choosing from the current 5s on who to keep at 5... surfer, thanos, phoenix, hulk, strange, bolt.

I also might dump cap and all spider men and goblin down a level as well. Ock should be a 2*.

Basically, if you can’t be a one-person wrecking crew in the comics or movies, you shouldn’t be able to compete with those who can.

I always thought gambit could charge like... anything. So any particles of dust in the air, the entire ground, your clothes... basically he turns everything he chooses into a burning bomb. If that’s true, then he might be worthy of a 5...

Loki stood toe-to-toe with Surtur during Ragnarok (see: Thor #353); something neither Odin nor Thor were able to do. Just because he doesn't often cut loose with his power, preferring schemes and tricks to direct confrontation, doesn't mean Loki is weak.

I’m aware of who Hercules is and I’d be totally fine with him as a 5*. I’m just not sure what would qualify him as a potential 6*.

I was under the impression Gambit is an omega level mutant. If so he definitely qualifies as 5*.

Plus he's the sorceror supreme these days!

If I recall correctly, his mutant power is to unlock the latent potential kinetic energy in an object and possibly magnify it.
He uses playing cards because they're easy to carry around; small enough to carry in quantity; unassuming enough to pass a weapon inspection; easy to throw...and it's his gimmick.

So yeah, imagine being able to unlock the full kinetic potential of, say...a large rock. Or a steel beam. Or a power generator. Or an atomic bomb, even.
