Based on the "original" schedule, we're due a 4. Way back when they did Spidey early (Doc Ock, Sandman, Spidey, 5/4/5, instead of the typical 5/4/4), we got Vulture, Mockingbird, and Yonud (three 4*s in a row) to "reset" and get us back tot he original schedule.

Gambit, Nightcrawler, Thor gave us another 5/4/5, so I've been expecting three 4*s in a row since then to get us "back on schedule", so to speak. If they give us another 4* next, it would come out roughly the 25th, that puts a 5* release around February 8th, which is a week before Black Panther comes out in theaters. Given that the devs are suckers for 5* tie-ins to movie releases, I bet the next character is a 4* to line the schedule up to drop a 5* near the movie.

I just realized that, assuming the next character is a 4*, no saving or hoarding of cp or heroics will help cover Kraven for Shield Training.  Another lovely repeat of MEH is forthcoming.

This hint goes to Ghost Rider hands down... that's his motto. If that is the case, I would expect a 5* version.. no point in having 2 4* versions IMO. But hey, what do I know... This happened before with Venom, so anything is possible.

I do believe the devs said the MEH Shield training was an oversight. Exactly what steps they will take to prevent it happening again is not known though.

Little they can do other than to put 4*s into tokens 2 weeks after release like they do with 5*s.

Vengeance or Justice?

Obviously it's a choice between the MCU (Vengeance = Avengers) and DCU (Justice = Justice League).  Which is no choice at all, as it's MPQ.  So it could be anyone linked to the Avengers.

And yet, why not both?  It's a character from the Amalgam Universe, Super-Soldier confirmed.

I would lose my mind if they actually did that. I was just talking to a friend today about how awesomely 90s the Amalgam Universe was.

As of right now, I'm afraid I don't have any news to announce regarding the next 4-Star character that will have updated progression rewards. Once I receive that information though, I'll be sure to post it in the forum.

Ugh. Still no option for the AP bar. I really don't like playing games when I know what the enemy is going to do. Not to mention not being able to see what I'm doing all the time.

Ah, now I see. That loading screen shows us exactly what’s up with the new character. We see Kate Bishop, Nico, America Chavez, and at the end Pizza Dog drops in! We’re getting Pizza Dog folks!

How about... actually having an update available when it says there’s one?
Right now, I have a vicious cycle if tapping “Update” in MPQ and “Open” in iTunes, because there is no actual update...
