Bombast just sums up my main argument against wins based pvp. We already have that in pve. There is literally no point to a redundant game mode, other than milking more time out of players. If all we have is just a mindless slog to a goal in every mode, then i would quit. Many have said that they were pve players who didn't touch pvp much, and enjoyed wins pvp. They wanted pvp to be like the mode that they were used to, and they didn't seem interested in learning how pvp worked. There is nothing wrong with having 2 separate modes with different styles and objectives.3
