Was just about to post on this, ive been playing since october release, this change has really hurt my funds (iso funds, not money) a lot! I play this game a lot too, top 10 in most everything and im struggling to raise levels now.

PVE was the geaux to source for iso and now it stinks really. In pvp its a tiny bit better i guess, but not even in the same ballpark as the amt thats been nerfed in pve.

It is affecting Steam users far, far more than mobile users, because Steam users cannot get ISO from social sharing.
The average Steam user is losing a much bigger cut of their ISO income percentage-wise than the average mobile user and thus will have to make greater adjustments to his/her spending pattern.
This could be one of the reasons why less players play the game on Steam compared to 4 months ago.

Oh wow, they lost so many players in March/April.
    When did scaling start?
  • I doubt the numbers presented in the chart show the actual number of players, but it gives an idea of the drop in player base for the game in Steam. A 30% dive in 2 months is no small thing.

Yeah this will in now way represent mobile figures.
But it is indicative of people who play the game on their PC.
Considering the popularity of the marvel universe and the cult status of puzzle quest I'm surprised there's not more people playing on steam.

Oh well. People playing on a PC are more likely to give up on the game as well if it becomes a chore because well... most steam users have plenty of other games to play (curse you steam sales).
I remember at one point in an IceIX statistics post that he mentioned PC users were the stickiest... the following reporting noting them as being the least sticky.

Basically their revenue is as strong as ever
but looks like a large part of that is thanks to a consistent influx of new players who don't know better

its hard to remain "sticky" when game designers purposefully straight up decide a certain platform only gets 60-70% of the in game currency as others.
