What happens to HOU collection? Is this ok?

    Having coalition prize rares, and perhaps the premium pack extra rares, temporarily include only the rares incorrectly omitted from the regular packs the last few months would be a nice remedy for this bug. Or just including them at increased drop rates.

    This has been my biggest frustration with the issue. The majority of rares I get come as even rewards, and since they've been missing for so long, it's not been possible to earn them.

    Tangentially related, it's also made the will to participate in events much lower as the rewards just aren't there. I don't need to spend 2-3 days playing an event only to get my 8th copy of Driven//Dispair or Dreamstealer while there are many, many rares I COULD have gotten had this not been an issue.

    @Brigby: Any update on this issue? It is very frustrating to get dupe after dupe for event rewards while we could have gotten other rares that are impossible to get now. Please make this top priority.

    Forget it, they're not doing anything. I haven't even been able to get into Training Grounds all day. They don't play the game, they only want our money and don't care if their 'game' actually works.

    I've no such issues ... and the game works fine with the exception of the occasional error message that goes away after a few retries but I am experiencing this in the events other than TG. so maybe the problem is on your end?

    Nope. I have been having the same issue all day. It just barely started working again last hour.

    It's bedtime for me now, and Training Grounds still only offers an error message. This really sucks.

    For me I connect in multiple different ways, I have 4g through my phone network, then wifi at home which goes through a VPN connected to multiple places.

    Often with this problem I can change the connection and connect. Changing the endpoint of the VPN _does_ change things.

    Sometimes it's definitely on the server side and nothing can be done, but that's a lot rarer.

    @Brigby it looks like all of the expected cards are back in the HoR set now. Thanks for the fix.

    Speaking of the rest of the HOU set when will you add to the packs the 6 remaining mythics ? It would have been the perfect time to do so. I mean you already have put all 6 on sale, right ?

    But, If Hibernum would have not closed, Ixalan would have been released already. So the devs could have added these cards with the others. 

    Moreover, @Brigby spoke in his post of : "the rest of the HOU set". And these 6 cards could be considered belonging in "the rest of the HOU set".

    1. Not the new devs responsibility, nor has it been D3's policy to release exclusive prior the next set release, I doubt that they will break it now regardless of circumstances. Besides, the addition of exclusives to the old set when a new set is released is part of the excitement when opening hoarded packs.

    2. Regarding what Brigby said, I say we are likely arguing semantics, but the meaning of his statement was generalized and directed at the missing non-exclusive cards of the HoU set. You quoting him in the manner that you did implies that you're aware of this but are sick of waiting...  just a note, We all are, and we all are just gonna have to keep waiting. so keep hoarding those packs, and good luck in drawing an exclusive when they come out.

    1. True. In the past, exclusive cards have always come with the next set. But, we never have had a release delayed as much as the release of Ixalan is. And actualy I do think that in regard of the circumstances, D3 could make an exception for once. Obviously, they also could not. We don't know until they tell us what they will do.

    1. Aether Revolt was released end-Jan while Amonkhet was released around 10 May. That's about 3.5 months later. Hour of Devastation was released end-July and 3.5 months later would be around 10 November. Even if the releases drags till end November, it wouldn't be that much more of a delay than the previous gap from a small expansion to a new bloc.

    2. It's just been the convention that the paid exclusives stay exclusive till the next set. While it's nice to F2P players to get access to the paid exclusives earlier, this is at the expense of making those who paid enjoy a shorter exclusivity period. I'm not releasing the paid exclusives into the card pool now is gonna be the crowd pleaser move it's implied to be, especially if it offends the people who are their source of income.
