    I've been playing in bursts all day and managed to get as high as 850pts - #1 in my bracket. There have been 3 people shielded in the top ten during that time.
    I'm currently at 813 points after clearing some retaliations, still #1, with #2 at 726 points currently.

    I don't need the 1100 cover, but it makes a nice enough target to chase. Not sure how hard I want to push - I'm on 2 yellow IW covers at the moment, so it might be worth trying for this one where the 3* cover isn't highly sought after, although I do also need Loki covers.

    I'll stay unshielded tonight and see how far I fall.

    Yeah, I stopped playing actively at 680, and am up to 780 now thanks to defensive wins.
    I almost forgot just how effective OBW/Hood are against the zombie hordes icon_e_wink.gif

    I'm running Pun + maxed Cap + Hood, no attacks so far. But my MMR is lower than 3x85 and I just got to 500pts, so maybe it's a bit too early.

    For those of you already in the 7/800s what scores are you gaining per level? Im only get about 18 per.

    It's too early, people didn't reach higher values, thus You won't get juicy targets yet.

    Got to about 911 last nite, didn't see any forumites to give pts to icon_e_sad.gif (first world MPQ problems, i kno...)

    When I was up there, pts were about 14-15 for other high level targets (also around 750s in pts), but there were smatterings of 24s and 25s up there too

    Went full Ghast method, down to 44 pts now

    Yeah, point totals will be lower in this tourney, taking the kyip anomaly out of consideration. There are tons more Punisher covers and high-leveled Puns out there in the wild, so matches will take way longer than in Top Gun, and there is lower demand for those 1100 Pun covers.

    I'm still utterly amazed I haven't been hit yet - not even a retaliation. I'm sitting on 550 points and about 5th in my bracket just by knocking out a few matches every couple of hours.

    I guess Ares+OBW+Punny are persuading people I might be a hard target icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Just moved up to 600, and starting too see too many high level groups now. Will probably make a push for 1000+ tomorrow for those Loki covers and a decent ranking for the season bracket.

    I finally just got attacked for the first time in this event. I think I was running a maxed Spidey, punisher, and 130 Thor. No one hit me when the third character was maxed GSBW or 115 Patch.

    I personally love opponents with Patch, stockpile AP, let them get Feral Claws off once, and then go AP crazy on them.

    What's also good is throwing Hulk in front of him when he launches it. Hulk floods the field with green and erases all those strike tiles only leaving your purple ones behind.

    Loki purple covers is one of the few older 3 stars I am missing (think I am at 5/2 or 5/3), so I don't mind the rewards.

    best I've seen so far is 23 or so. I'm at 811 right now I think. They will go up closer to the end of it once more are actively playing it

    And that my iPad doesn't lose the retals again, it seems to believe that me opening safari is a good enough reason to restart MPQ afterwards icon_e_confused.gif

    I didn't get any retals or hits until after I passed 700. Once I got to 800, it was all pure 141 teams, and started getting popped a few times back to back. currently at 811, but going up any just brings in more hits. Not sure where the thresholds are this time, but do seems different than in Top Gun.

    sorry, didn't know you were pushing too. I made a climb to 900 and called it a day, because I only want top 25 from this one. I had you another time on a node, but skipped - would have retreated to you instead.

    Edit: by the way your mirror team to mine gave me a run for my money a bit closer to the end (your Pun cascaded into Judgement and Retribution, but I killed him before he used Retribution).
