Second round starting with Juggernaut level 160 looks unpleasant... oh well - will start worrying about it in 2 days or maybe earlier if I decide to play 2 refreshes instead of one...
  • Like last event nodes are now worth 25% more.

Managed 21st on normal and 12th hard. Thor and Daken seem to make a decent pair for this event, can't wait to see Thor maxxed, only one cover and 53 levels to go.

Noobish question about the refresh rate, is it 12 hours from the start of the event, or 12 hours from when you do a particular node?

Each node refreshes independently, and each refresh starts from your last completion of that node.
  • Oh and less my bracket really slacking no way we getting the Green rag.

    28K * (1 + 1.25 + 1.5) is 105K only 95 K short.
  • First in hard 15th in easy still 2k behind leader in the main and did 3 refreshes. Looks like rubber banding is weaker than usual and you need to grind to make top 2. something I am not willing to do even though I want the IW. I would rather have a...marginally... enjoyable time than be bricked by high levels at every node. Hopefully the leaders get scaled out. But interestingly enough the new nodes are lower in level than expected, its like D3 bottomed out the scaling on the new nodes so only your personal scaling effects them, community scaling is zero until it builds again.

Yeah, some of my nodes in round one ended in 195-225 range, now, jugs level in easy is 140, and 175 in hard. So, at least a little less.

And agree rubberbanding definitely seems less now. Only about 1.2k behind leader in main, but looks like all the top 10 are close. So we'll probably be trading spots around constantly, unless I get kicked out by a 1* team on a tear.

Agreed. I'm just under 28k right now. Can't see making the top prog in this one

Well my top 10 has reckless in it wonder if I should just give up on Blue IW now and just hit top 50 its so tight at the top less than 1K for the top 10.

I don't care. All I need is the red one at 50k anyway. I never expected the final reward to be reachable in the first place.

If it makes you less frustrated, Ragnarok's green sucks ****.

aren't you lucky? Lol. Green rags...not too worried about getting it. IW wouldn't be bad to get. I don't recognize anyone in my top 10 bracket, but do recognize a few of the alliances these peeps are a part of. Should be interesting.

did just realize locked is in my AoO bracket though looks like....

Annnd. ..just realized Loki is required in essentials, wonderful. Don't have him. Guessing I'll definitely miss out on top 10 now.

I don't know. I was fourth in easy and 1st in hard, and was still 500 points behind the leader in main. And my scaling is going nuts. I've jumped about 100 levels in my unlock nodes. I don't need IW, so I don't plan to grind like crazy and am going to try to modify the way I play PVE. I suspect that whether I wind up in the top-2 will depend mainly on where the alliances are towards the end.
  • Looking at the essential nodes:

Juggs + MBW + IM35. On higher levels it'll be quite scary. You have to control blue, red and yellow, otherwise:
-you'll be hit for sooooo many points
-one char will be stunned for 5 turns
-protect tiles will make fight longer
unless of course AI will hoard blue and red for IM35 icon_e_biggrin.gif

The rest - I don't see any tough comboes, maybe Psylocke black + Wolvie strike tiles might do some harm. I haven't opened the paths yet, so I'm pretty curious what awaits there.

Oh, and my levels are so far considerable - 60-120, so each fight is pretty doable. I seriously consider Spider-Man to be a reason, as mine is lvl50 at 313.

my Spidey is at 79 2/5/2. I had posted a couple pages back with the same basic theory. I haven't opened the paths yet, but the first node of the path in easy is 145, in hard, 175.

Yeah, it's the 3x1* team that worries me most, too. Mine are at L60 for now, but can you imagine Juggs + IM35 at L150, punching you in the face for a million damage?
