ie: in scl 8 the max level enemy will be level 400 , you'll only see this when you face a single or 2 enemy node.
OMG let that be true. I was fighting the mags hood node on the last day at 525 range. That would be a 125 level reduction. Glorious

My node 6 level actually scaled down to like 366, not much, but weird nevertheless.

Also, if no one in your alliance made you aware of this, you might want to join another alliance. You would hope at least one member caught that it was being tested again.

Btw, i would love a change like this to pvp if it would stop the constant smashing by the 5* tier. I hate skipping fights I can't win to earn less ISO.

Hi Everyone. Just as an FYI, the Message of the Day actually contained a notice about the Thick as Thieves event having the adjusted difficulty levels. Here is that portion of the MOTD:

"Thick as Thieves will also have difficulty based on S.H.I.E.L.D. Clearance Levels. Please select the enemy level range you wish to play against for this event."

If you would like to view this message in-game, just go to the Settings button in the top-left corner, and select Today's News at the bottom of the pop-up menu.

    Hi @brigby

Thank you to replying on this topic, but I don't think you responded to my stated question. While there is a news message that mentioned the scaling test, and the enemy levels are listed on the SCL select screen, that's (apparently) not sufficient, as evidenced by the fact that multiple people have posted about it here (and not in a happy way).

The news message appears only once, and after many people have already signed up for the event, and the SCL select screen places no special emphasis on the scaling differences. As one poster put it, there's some "muscle memory" in selecting your slice/SCL, and people who aren't already aware of the test will not even notice the "enemy levels" line under each clearance level.

So, as I asked before - is there any way to put a message about the test directly on the SCL selection screen? Ideally, it will require the user to do something different than usual (eg. read and scroll past the message in order to even select their SCL).

Something like this poorly Photoshopped mockup:

Can you ask the devs if this is possible?
(also, ignore the fact that it's an Unstable ISO8 popup with a Thick As Thieves scaling notice :)

Upon further review, the normal nodes (no required character) are much higher scaling than normal.  The final goon node (Thug, Muscle, Commander) ended up at LVL 388 for me.  That's about 80 levels above normal, which is way higher than the 20 levels higher for the required four-star node.  Can we get a character that can set a three turn countdown tile that deals 6K damage for 2 yellow, please?

The sign up page had the levels listed on each tab for each SCL.  Told you exactly what the levels would be.
No, it did not. On either of my accounts.

See the screenshot Broll posted.  It absolutely did, you probably just didn't look at it since it usually doesn't have any extra info.

    Never had that info.

That would only work if they took away your ability to pick a clearance level, and limited your battles to other people at the same clearance level.  This wouldn't necessarily be better unless you happened to be at the upper bound of the group you were assigned to.
