Actual scaling levels in Thick as Thieves?

Any first slice people finish their 4 clears yet and want to share what level the nodes are capping out yet?  Are the CL8 nodes going up 25 levels per clear like we're told they're supposed to?  (I do slice three, so can't find out for myself yet.)

    Yeah they scale up correctly, topping out at 388.

    28 champed 4s and no 5s above 260. This scaling just baffles me, wish I had stuck with scl 7 again.

    What did you expect from fixed levels that can go up to 400?

    That's because it's not scaling, it's fixed numbers with a small RNG variant (for some reason I don't understand)

    Thanks for the info.  I think I'll stick it out in CL8 again.  My Bl4de should be boosted to around 400.

    I have enemies starting out at level 259 when I don't have a single character even near level 200. What the tinykitty is this tinykitty? I was going to go after the Cage covers and get me another for my **** but now I only have to say one thing to those who rn this game...

    Please fix the scaling for scl8, 3 star rosters can't deal with enemies at level 388. 1 goon power goes off and my entire team is dead. Please fix it!

    The thing is we cannot change back to scl7 once scl8 is selected. Plus the notice of testing scaling is not clear at the point of selection of this event

    That's true. 

    @Brigby, is there any way to make it more clear in-game when a test event is being run? Not just the one-time news popup - but a notice directly on the slice/SCL select screens? Something with lots of capital letters and bold font, maybe?  

    There have been a number of people posting lately that appear to have been caught unaware for this test, and I suspect there are many more (who don't post on the forums) who are in the same boat. 

    Obviously they can't change anything for this event, but for any future tests it might be helpful.

    Thats a fair and reasonable point.  Make sure you actually read the loading screens.  This was something that was posted in game and in the sneak peek thread.

    In any case expect 2 to 3 more similar tests, and if your a 3* roster you should probably be looking at scl6 and scl7.  The enemies in those scl are scaled for 3* rosters.  Scl 8 is being tuned for 4* champs and 5* champs.

    I don't really disagree that this test caught alot of casual players by surprise.  But it was announced in the forums and in game. 

    I think all this thread movement and excessive thread moderation is making it much more difficult for players to find relevant information. and really it really impacted alot of users who RIGHTLY expect this info to be front and center in the general forum and not hidden in various sub forums

    Yeah, same thing as last time. They didn't even bother to inform people before they had the chance to choose an SCL they never had a chance of completing.

    That's just damn sloppy.

    As for those enemy levels: No way I'm sending my 4* team up against several nodes of maxchamped 3* each day. SCL 7 all the way. So thanks for the saved time and the reward downgrade. And good luck to any 3* rosters.

    Yes, that's very true - because you can pre-join events, the message needs to be visible whenever you select your slice/SCL, not just a one-time popup that only appears once at the event start time. For prejoiners, that's too late.

    People, the sign up screen said level 200-400 enemies for CL8.
    That message is only there for events with CL-based levels.
    Read before blindly clicking through cause of muscle memory.

    Yes there could have been a pop-up, but it's also a little on you.

    Yeah, it was there but honestly, would you have noticed the difference if you didn't already know about it? I doubt I would've.

    For a year now, the SCL screen has been devoid of any useful information and thus just another obstacle to click through.

    My 4-star node topped out at LVL 341 for SCL 8. That's about 20 LVLs higher than normal. I'm more annoyed that it's the 2-stra Bullseye/Lieutenant/Muscle node. Those nodes take forever with the protect and healing. I used 4-star Cage to get rid of protect and strike tiles. It doesn't help that my 4-star Iron Fist is horribly underleveled.

    My nodes are more than 80 levels higher than last event. Usually my enemies top up at 300 for scl8
