Temmet battle

We think we might have figured it out. Not 100% certain, but the crash seems to only occur if you exile using the little trash can/exile function on the pop-up card itself. If you just drag it to the "normal" trash can, no crashes.

My theory is an interrupt action between the cycling Exile and the drake pop up.
I have successfully crashed it three times by trying to tap something on the screen while the drake is on it's way out.0 -
Cast out did the job for me. A 3-shield disable support that can be stacked even when choosing multiple targets. A bit over powered I think.0

Good to know. I will say, however, that I've had myriad freezes/crashes when tapping on the screen anytime something is occurring on the screen. I just had one this morning when I was tapping past the pop-up of something the AI cast. It's made me quite paranoid.=p

You know what sucks? What sucks is when you have a card that's supposed to do something, but it doesn't do it. Instead, you are told that other people's cards do something and actually work as printed. Did they bother to playtest this?

I laughed earlier today. I exiled a card to pump up my creatures for next shot win, second talent of new Gideon. And instead of my cards getting the power up his did and I died. Well how I laughed.0

Another couple of unsuccessful attempts to beat this Temmet guy.
While I do love the concept of a PvE battle Vs a deck full of invincible godlike creatures, I am beginning to wonder if it's a good idea to give the guy 300+ HP and astonishing mana gains. Seriously, watching the AI dump it's hand with a single swap is enough to make Koth blush.2 -

I´ve managed a winning position twice against him (with bounce and steal), but both times the game froze. Coincidence?0

I just beat Temmet. All i had to do was buy Jace 2.0, level him completely, run a defender, a lifelinker, and days undoing. Takes...so...many...points...to..Whats the end prize for all of this?? lol.1

The problem about Temmet (and maybe even generally the 3rd node), as I see it, is not really the difficulty. I am kind of glad that a new challenge came with the new set, meaning: hard, but not impossible. Now, I am talking from a perspective of a platinum, mid-range player, newbies are getting screwed anyway.
On my example I want to show what I believe is the real problem: I failed completely in my first two attempts to beat him. In the first one, I didn't even come close, in the second one, the game crashed on me before I could finish. Found both frustrating, yes, but believed in my chance with some helpful deckbuilding input from the community.
Then this happened: In only two days I got lucky like never before in this game with pulls from reward boosters and received three cards with which I am able to create pretty much endless cycling Kiora loops. Temmet was down in 5 rounds, 3.2. in 7, and 3.3. played only 2 cards during the whole match. 2 cards! I cleaned the dishes while beating him.
The challenge, as I felt it, did not become smaller - it was simply gone. And with the challenge gone, the suspense and even the thrill of knowing, I could beat this guy with skill and luck and not only with a broken mechanic, were nullified. Naturally, I could change my deck to something unbroken in order to "have fun", but (and this is the true problem): I don't feel I am given incentive to do so. The rewards are so small, that the pursue for full progression does not in any way compensate the time needed to reach it. I mean - a booster? In platinum? For days and days of struggling or in my case - swiping cards in the trash can?
From a constructive perspective:
1. Challenges are okay
2. Challenges are more than okay if the rewards to meeting them are okay
3. Your challenges feel too hard for many, and rewards feel too tiny for many
*Solution 1*: Increase rewards accordingly. The frustration from those who feel left out due to the standard restrictions will still be there but with increased rewards we would in time get better cards to solve the challenge. Don't give us a freaking BASIC BOOSTER as progression. Who wants to play for that?
*Solution 2*: Decrease the amount of "hard" for the third node a bit for maybe one or two more events and then, increase it again, after people had a chance to get some viable solutions for Temmet and co. The game should never feel too easy and never feel to hard. One is boring, the other is frustrating - both lead in the long run to people playing less and quitting, as you can already see in couple of other threads.
4. Bugs and broken mechanics are not okay
5. To notice that you can beat *any* opponent because of a developing mistake, or lose because the game is bugged, is a miserable gaming experience (Baral was not any different, but the sucky part about him was that even the stupidest AI I have ever met in a computer game could pilot him to a lame victory.)
*Solution 3*: Please test your game before you implement new sets and new ideas; we have repeatedly offered our help in pre-testing cards and mechanics before you throw them on the player base nicely wrapped but full of bugs.
TL;DR: Work with us.9 -
Just beat Sumut first try lol with a one rare and one mythic deck.0

3.3 is hard, but 3.1 is super aggro, temmet should be the last to face.
Lost 6 times in 3.1 (for losses to figure out a strategy)
One time in 3.2
Never in 3.3
