Saheeli Rai was blecch because the deck was poorly designed with non-bos, high-mana cards with no synergy with one another, no good removal, and you were playing against a tuned deck, usually one which would give Runaway Carriage vigilance and flying to go along with its hexproof and prevent damage.

These decks are at least designed by community members, though they are hamstrung by the fact that they had to use only cards which appeared in the set the walker was released in.

If we're not going to eventually play one against the other, I'm not sure what the point of them even existing is.  They're not the optimal decks for those walkers.  You can't actually do anything which will get you any of the specific cards you're missing.  And "wow you completed the beginner deck" isn't necessarily my proudest achievement unlocked.

everyone get 1000 runes, 5 jewels and 20 jewels for each completed mastery deck. i think of it as extra bonus rewards if i happen to have all 10 cards in my collection that form that deck.

Agree re additional free slots needed,  and I did suggest the solution not long ago to combat power creep by having specific games where specific sets are used like in paper magic and rotate out sets as new ones come in so happy with that as well.

Now they need to address prices as how likely are you to pay £40 for a card which may only be available for use for a limited time and in limited situations?
