    Results similar to Bowgentle: 9 2* and only one 3***, a blue CMag

    I hoped for more 3*** sure but I needed this cMag cover thus it's nice

    Yeah, I do. Thought I'd manage to get a decent placement without him, but somehow, the normal nodes don't give as much points as in the last events, even though I haven't touched them for 24h. Can't even get into top 50 with doing only those. Well, I still have a few hours to figure out who to sell to make room for him.

    Is it just me, or are the progression rewards not all that inspiring? I got to the ten pack reward easily (admittedly I already played Shield-training a lot) and now there's basically nothing to strive for, since I don't expect to get up to 10k.

    I had similar luck. Waited a few minutes and then opened. 9 2* and a green gsbw. Ugh! The rng gods have once again looked down on me with unfavorable odds. What have I done to deserve this punishment?!?!

    Some on this thread pulled 10 2* with their pack therefore I don't complain... even if a bit disappointed icon_razz.gif

    i just got my 1800 points but pulled bagman who im not building up right now kinda sad but now im going to push into getting my 10 pack so i can get my current 2* updated so they can be maxed then I can start thinking about getting my next 2* or start my 3*.

    Just reached the 5000 point and opened my 10-pack. Not as bad as I've seen others get:

    2* Wolvie
    2* Cap
    2* Cap
    GSBW - Needed
    Daken - Surprisingly needed
    2* Thor
    Hood - Needed
    2* Cap
    2* Hawkeye
    cMags - Needed

    Was hoping to get BP, LT or LC, but can't complain with what I got.

    I did pretty well with my 10 pack. I got a green IW and a red Patch cover that I needed. The rest were just ISO.

    True. I was just hoping for some better luck like I've been hearing about. Oh well hopefully if I place high enough I'll get something useful from one of those 10 packs icon_eek.gif

    Especially since if they didn't shield, they would probably get 3 heroic packs anyways due to placing top 5. As is, it's like they're trading 4.2k HP for a single heroic pack, which is really silly imo. Maybe they think the fame and glory of being ranked in the top leaderboards is worth that much HP to them, in which case I can't argue. It still feels like a waste though especially considering how I wouldn't even pay 1k HP for a single heroic pack.

    I played until I started to get hit and made it to 11th place and 2200 points - within about 300 points of the leader. So I really can't see the point in shielding, it's not as if they are breaking away from the pack.

    Most of the top 10 are shielded (on and off) but most of 11-20 and below aren't, so its a select few. I'm happy to rise and fall for the iso until late in the day

    But at this point, they're essentially committed to it right? How are you going to shield up for 10 days in a row and then stop? I just picture them all with the G.O.B. "I've made a huge mistake" thing going on every time they re-up that shield.

    i haven't ran into any shielded players. I have never shielded myself before since i always try to save mine for roster space or tempting to buy not the 10 packs but only one cover only when they have the daily deals (which i know is a stupid idea because if i get a character that is useless i sell for iso to help my other characters level) this time im just saving up for more roster space if i want better characters O-o. I still dont want to shield though.

    The shielded people are on the leaderboard. If you check the rankings, there are people in the top ten right now that are shielded.

    even shields are a better thing to spend HP on than tokens.
    yes you might pull good 2* covers, even some 3*s, but the chance of pulling Moonstone/Bag-Man/mHawkeye/Cap**/Bullseye nullifies any possible profit in the long run.
