We finished 113th in Hot Shot. Disappointed to finish outside the top 100, this was certainly a tough tournament for some and we could have done a bit better job with some of the swapping.

Another sneak peek spoiler? Likely the event that follows Hulk. I don't recall Fury being front and center before and the last run didn't feature Torch as a powered-up hero. Fury being "officially" launched in Hulk and all.

I wonder if we really will be getting a yellow cover for the global goal in Hulk.

What are you guys thinking for strategy in the Hulk event? I'm thinking about join 2-3 sub in to avoid the crazies. It worked out pretty well in the last event, but this one might just be more hardcore with the 12 hours subs. I also want to make sure that I get the 35K spidey just cos ...

Fury looks like he will be tough to obtain and I don't need Psylocke. I'm just going to join from the starting subs and use the event to boost my ISO, tokens and HP. I'll let my final placement determine itself.

Recently I haven't had much luck no matter when I join. I blame sharding or just being that good...lol. With the exception of the last event, I have had to hit 900+ for top 15. I usually join PVE when I wake a few hours after it starts.

Actually turns out I have a buddy visiting from out of town this weekend, so PVE time might be at a mega premium, so I might be forced into a later start ...

On the PVP front I've typically been joining 24 hours or less in. The high end scores are still high, but my 800ish scores have typically been good enough for a top 25. My roster is almost to the point where I can make a run at 1100 I think with enough hopping but I haven't had the time to figure out the optimal strategy for that yet. Maybe in Season 5.

Just some motivation for you Geauxbotx! There are 7 seasons of Gilmore Girls with a total of 153 episodes! Actually that's not too bad ... only 4.5 days days of continuous watching

Just a quick alliance update:

Verseun has been removed from XStatIIX as he hasn't played for a few days in a row now and didn't let me know he was going to be absent.
Yachiyo has moved up into XStatiX to take Ty's place.
Dhaden is returning as a member of our secondary alliance.
Catwoman57 (AKA Dinobot's mum) will also be joining the secondary alliance.

Do any of you use line chat? I have no way to communicate with all you nice gents from XstatiX proper except via forums.

I haven't used it, but I'm open to new things . Seems like with the 2 alliances it would help communication, especially when limee's not around.

I'm always around.

It's a desktop and/or mobile chat client that you can create user groups with. I used it when I was briefly in Retribution before I took another MPQ vacation and it was vastly superior to the in game client.

Interesting, I was just chatting with hotfuzz about it. If people are ok with it, then it seems like it might be worth a trial at least as it could potentially make my job easier.

The biggest improvements vs the in game client is that you can:
* Have a complete chat history without losing anything past ~last 50
* Can post things like links and copy/paste which you can't do even with the steam client
* Platform independent, so if you're a steam user or a multiple account player you can still stay connected to the team regardless of how you logged in

Negatives:
* stupid **** emoji everywhere that everyone else but me absolutely **** loves (bitter old man)
